This was perfect for three families to visit Lake Eufala for fall break. Lots of places to sit and hangout. Well stocked kitchen and dining space. Access to the beach for walks and rock skipping. Tables for board games.
The stay was nice but the charge for the cleaning is overpriced compared to what actually was clean. For example: some dishes were put up dirty, the walls were dirty in some places, the master shower nèeded a scrun down and the laundry room vents needed cleaned.
This property was exactly as listed. It had plenty of room for a big family meal, wonderful views of the lake, lots of beds and extra bedding, fully stocked kitchen, it was perfect for our needs. It is right off the interstate but traffic noise didn't bother us. The host was very responsive. My family would like to go back again next year.
The house is a lot larger than the photos seem. We lived the view off of the back porch! There was lots of rain before our stay so the lake level was really high (which was beautiful!) and there was a washout on one of the roads in to the property. The road to get to the house from the main road is all unpaved road so it was quite a ride in on motorcycles and lots of potholes though the neighborhood road. Overall we enjoyed our stay but wish there were more available linens for use. We would definitely stay here again!
This home is spacious, open, and has room for all. The views from he family room are amazing and the deck is awesome. Our host was very communicative did everything in his power to ensure we had a comfortable stay. It was nice to have a somewhere to all stay together as a family, and still have space for friends and family to stop by to visit without feeling crowded. It is important to note that it is next to a highway so there is some noise that can be heard while you’re sleeping, but a fan will cover most of the sound. It can also be a bit difficult to find using GPS. we ended up picking it out in maps, dropping a pin and then going to that. We really did enjoy our stay and will be returning in the future.

Odor, road noise, and condition issues
My excitement about being waterfront for our Eufaula fishing weekend came to a screeching halt when we arrived at the home and began realizing the issues with its current condition. The floor has soft spots everywhere and the refrigerator looks like it is getting ready to fall through the floor. One of the bed frame posts already has fallen through. There is an overwhelming sewer odor that is trying to be covered with air freshener. Looks like they also have a rodent problem. The road noise from I-40 proximity is really loud. You have to travel down a couple miles of mud and rocky road to reach the home. All of it was so bad, we only stayed one night and left.

Hi Jeff, we’re sorry to hear your visit didn’t meet expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your review, and they wanted to share the following:- Some soft spots in the flooring are being addressed, and the fridge is intentionally installed slightly recessed to allow the doors to close smoothly and safely.- A previous guest had moved one of the beds over a non-weight-bearing floor vent, which may have caused the issue—you also had access to other available beds during your stay.- The home receives monthly pest control service and uses preventive traps; no signs of rodent activity have been found, and air fresheners are used to keep the space fresh.- Recent rain likely contributed to muddy road conditions, and while highway noise can vary, we understand that it may impact lighter sleepers. Thanks again for your feedback, it helps us continue improving for future guests.
