It is located in the quiet 2nd Valley, is 300m from the beach and close to the shop and Bistro at the Fraser Island Retreat.
“Acacia” has been fully renovated throughout and boasts all the modern appliances and furnishing of a 5 star accommodation. It has 4 bedrooms over 2 levels and can sleep up to 10.
The ground floor has a large covered deck with outdoor furniture and a modern BBQ where you can cook in comfort in all weather conditions. There is a fridge on the deck where you can keep your drinks handy and cold.
The open style of the spacious lounge/dining room features comfortable lounge, 60 inch smart TV with Satellite reception and Satellite NBN with free wifi. There is a large dining table for 10. The kitchen has all new appliances and is fully equipped with gas stove, microwave and all the utensils you would expect to find in your home.
Also on this floor is Bedroom no.1 with a Queen bed. There is a bathroom and toilet, a separate toilet and a laundry with front loading washing machine.
On the top floor there are 3 bedrooms. 2 have Queen beds and the 3rd is ideal for children with 2 single beds and a set of bunk beds.
There are ceiling fans in all rooms and bedrooms have USB ports for charging your phones and appliances.
The living areas are tiled and bedrooms carpeted.
Power is supplied by state of art Solar system with generator backup.
“Acacia” is ideal for 2 family groups or a large fishing group.
Guests are to bring their own linen (top and bottom sheet, pillow case and towel). Blankets, doonas and pillows are supplied. Fraser Island is a remote location and there are no linen services and no labour available.
As Happy Valley is centrally located on the Eastern Beach it is a great base for exploring all the beautiful lakes and features Fraser has to offer. It is also a handy spot to base yourself if you like chasing fish up and down the beach.
