Great place for family get away.

Wonderful home set in a beautiful neighborhood. The kids loved the outside activities. Older kids loved the downstairs to hang out. Wonderful communication with property manager. Would stay again! Highly reccomend.

Wonderful retreat property

Our group consisted of four couples. The bedrooms were perfect and the common space was spacious. Wonderfully stocked kitchen. We had a fire and smores one night. The furnishings were a cut above most rental properties. We all loved it.

The house is a really nice home in a very nice area. The screened in porch was a favorite. The activities for the kids kept them busy and entertained. The kitchen came with plenty of dishes and silverware although the pots and pans were a bit outdated. The house and bunk house was really warm when we arrived because the air was off so it took it a while to cool down. The informal text messages I sent to our host were unanswered. Overall, we enjoyed our time there and would return again.

Family Wedding

We chose this home for the size and location. We were their to celebrate our Daughter's wedding in Terrell, Tx just a short drive away. This Kemp home exceeded our expectations! We had 6 adults, 2 toddlers and an infant traveling and we had plenty of room to spread out comfortably. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we could have needed. The home is very family friendly with multiple pack n plays, children friendly cups, games, puzzles, the list goes on.

Great for groups

Tons of spaces to sleep for large groups. The kitchen is also well stocked with utensils if you plan to cook. Due to the time of year, we experienced pollen and spider webs covering the majority of the exterior of the house. A pressure wash prior to our stay would have been nice, as most outdoor furniture was unusable. There is a large raccoon that visits, we saw him on our second night. When we arrived to the house, trash was covering the car port and we assumed the raccoon had gotten into the bins the prior night. Cleaning up someone else’s trash while checking in was not ideal, but we understand it happens when you’re close to nature.

Hi Brittani, we’ve shared your review with the homeowner, who provided the following response:-Thank you for bringing the spider webs to our attention. While this can occasionally be an issue at lake houses, we have since power-washed the outdoor chairs and most of the house to resolve the matter.-We apologize for the trash issue as well; we acknowledge that it has been a concern. To resolve this, we’ve ordered an extra-large trash can to complement the existing one, which should help manage the situation moving forward.Thank you for staying with us and for your valuable feedback. We look forward to the opportunity to host you again in the future.
