Four friends (from Minnesota) went to Brandon to have a quick knitting retreat. The hostess was great before I booked the home and all throughout answering questions in a timely manner. The house had great WiFi. It has four bedrooms - one for each of us. The couch and chairs were very comfortable to do our knitting - and as we sat together at the dinner table it was great. We did not use the backyard, but it had a place to sit with a fireplace. It was a quaint cozy home. I would definitely book this place again if I make it back to Brandon.

Lovely home exactly as described. We had great communication with our hosts right from the beginning. We came to Brandon to celebrate a very belated Christmas with our family from Moose Jaw, we live in North Dakota. What a wonderful surprise to see a Christmas tree in the living room making it cozy and festive. Our gifts looked perfect under there. The house included everything we could have needed and we felt right at home. My husband said the bed was incredibly comfortable and I agree. Thanks to John and Marcela for being such great hosts.

Lovely stay in Brandon

Beautiful historic home with four bedrooms. Comfortable beds, great linens, fully equipped kitchen, large dining room table with lots of seating, nice deck with a barbecue. We would definitely be interested in staying here again.

Great to be back

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this beautiful heritage home in Brandon in less than a year. We were grateful for the air conditioning during the extremely hot weather. The four bedrooms were perfect for our group. Comfortable beds, nice linens, large dining room and living room.

Huge house - would come again!

Great place to stay, close to all amenities, there are many bedrooms with several beds, everything you need for a weekend Stay. Hosts were very easy to contact and communicate with. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Watched our son playing volleyball and stayed with another couple. Easy walking to groceries and restaurants. Perfect house to sit and relax. Charming

Very old house with original wood flooring, with squeaks & all. House tastefully & modernly decorated. Had all amenities you could need in the kitchen & bathrooms. They had even left a welcome basket on the island in the kitchen. Only drawback: had nice stoneware dishes & cups but these had gold trimming so they could not go in the microwave if you want to heat up your food or beverage. Enjoyed our stay & would highly recommend.

Clean and Cozy

The house met all of our needs for our short stay. Everything we could need was provided and the communication with the owners was prompt and helpful. While the location was convenient, the surroundings were less desirable.

Thanks for staying with us. We are so sorry that your colleagues had that experience in our house. We sent a pest control to the house as soon as you mentioned this and nothing was found, seems like the back door was leaving open for one of the guest when they used the door to smoke outside since the house is a free smoke and a mouse potentiality get inside and out. As for the hot water, the plumber has been take care of it to make sure it is working property. Thanks for staying with us 4 of your 6 booked days. We are working hard to improve the experience of our guests. We encourage our future guests to check our great reviews on this and another platforms as well. Best regards, John & Marcela

The house is a historical home nicely fixed up ,kitchen is nice and the dining area can comfortably sit 8 people ,the living room very comfortable the bedrooms are small but very comfortable beds half bath up stairs is nice ,full bathroom down stairs is nicely finished and shower is good , there is a nice deck at rear of house with a bbq, I would recommend house too others

Celebrate 90th birthday

Thank you for renting your house to us. It met our 3 day travel stay in Brandon. The house was ready for us when we arrived. It was clean and welcoming. The dining room table was great, as there were 6 of us and then we had 2 more people in, for a couple days and it seated us very well. The disappointments were the descriptions were miss leading As it is not does not have 2 bathrooms but one full bathroom downstairs and a small half bathroom upstairs. Also a description of the size of beds would be nice. The lock on front door was hard to see and very slow in opening. All the white steps can be very dangerous as are the steps outside in the dark. A mirror in each bedroom would make sharing the bathrooms better. Some hand towels would be a great asset. We packed fairly light and were almost there from the states when we received the notice that no street shoes were allowed in the house. Also we did not receive the leaving instructions until after we left, cause we left early that morning. We were blessed with some fantastic weather so we enjoyed the outside patio and chairs. It was a great visit. Thank you for letting us enjoy our stay. God Bless you TO-DO
