Nestled into the hillside, up a steep driveway is a beautiful Tuscan style stone dwelling that is spacious and airy. In a downstairs apartment (there is an upstairs apartment onsite) you will find one queen bed in a separate bedroom, and an adjoining open plan office that accommodates a bunk bed (double below, single above). Perfect for families or good friends. A separate living space with amble couches and games to share, with a small kitchenette off to the side. There is a private yard/ court yard outside that perfectly accommodates children playing on the grass, or for warm evenings enjoy a glass of wine outside under the grape vine!

super clean and plenty of space. Wonderful decor. The only drawback was that we had three cold days and found it was absolutely freezing in the evenings as there wasn't time for the heater to warm the home up.We had been asked not to leave it on when we were out. It would be a great place for warmer weather.

Quaint and quirky

A well located apartment with a charming personalised vibe. A lovely sunny courtyard set in a classic Castlemaine garden is a bonus. We found Tobie to be a friendly and accommodating host. Just a note that access to property may be challenging for those with limited mobility.

Perfect for us!

The photos don’t do this gorgeous place justice! We loved our stay. Super comfy, relaxed and great spaces. Each day was over 30 degrees and this sandstone gem stayed cool and comfortable throughout. We walked into town each evening, ! cooked breakfast at home and had a cheese platter under the grape vine in the evening. Perfect! Thanks Tobbie

Lovely stay at Castlemaine

My family and I had a short stay over the Christmas period. The unit was very clean and comfy and we loved how close it was to the centre of Castlemaine. We had a really lovely stay.

Very close and convenient. Steep tricky driveway. Quite a unique hideaway with lovely owner. Mattress on bottom bunk could use some padding. Otherwise nice amenities and thoughtful decor

We really enjoyed the cosy living area and patio. The beds were comfortable. Close and walkable to everything we needed. It felt good coming back to such a cosy place after sightseeing all day. Heater on, feet up. Eventually found enough power points to charge things.

Lovely family break away

We had a great stay in the house. Great communication from the host. My primary aged boys loved the bunk beds and the toys available. Good location.

Cozy place close to town

My family and I really enjoyed our weekend at Tobie's place. It's a lovely little spot with everything you need. My son appreciated the toys, bunk and garden too.

it was well spent $ value for a venue with an ideal location

We enjoyed our 5 nights and days stay in the north country town near Bendigo. Our apartment was comfortable. The steep drive have curved entrance was ok when we got used to it. We can recommend this apartment in Castlemaine to friends.

Excellent Accomadation a short stroll from town

Thankyou so much for having us. we had an amazing stay in Castlemaine. I walked to the accomadation from the train but my friends had no problem parking. This apartment is a short walk from town. excellent location and a great property
