The lake house is a beautiful spot and just perfect for a family of 6. Warm and cozy when we arrived and the view of the lake was just lovely. So relaxing! Everything was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed having the wood fireplace as it got a bit chilly outside. Great selection of kitchen items especially the coffee maker! The living room was very comfortable with all the bench seating and we definitely will be returning to this amazing place!

Amazing space great for a family get together

Property is private with access to lake. Comforts of home in a cottage setting. Easy check in and put process. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice getaway.

Beautiful location

The cottage is beautiful. We had lake access and the host had lots of water floaties on site. Lots of board games and puzzles for a family fun night. Secluded area. We had such a great time.

Great spot. The lake view is gorgeous, and the living room was very spacious. Well stocked kitchen. Note: you may not have cell service so you should screenshot the check in instructions in advance.

Great House on a Great Lake

The house comes fully equipped and is all very comfortable. Located well away from the neighbours it is all very private and quiet. Dock allows for deep dives into warm, clear waters. It was all great!

Peaceful and quiet

My husband and I stayed at this lakeside retreat in early May. Our son in law's family have a cottage down the road. While we spent most of our day in the other cottage, we enjoyed the peace and quiet of the Lakeside retreat. It is very well appointed and comfortable. We enjoyed working on a few puzzles and listening to music on the Google Home Sound system. We hope to come again one day with our granddaughters and swim in the Medway river and Ponhook lake.

All you need for a relaxing vacation

We really enjoyed our stay at Greg’s cottage. The cottage layout is well designed and offers lots of spaces to enjoy quiet time or family time. Everything has been thought out and all we needed was supplied. We enjoyed the lake and dock and quiet neighbourhood. 5 days went by too quickly! We would definitely consider booking again. Thank you Greg for sharing your cottage!

This property is so peaceful and quiet. The cottage is 3kms from the main road, through a beautiful mature forest. The road is very well maintained. The cottage sits up on a small hill from the river/ lake, providing breathtaking views of the water. We were pleasantly surprised to have the opportunity to use a paddle boat, so easy to operate, great for all ages! Beds were comfy and had appropriate mattress and pillow covers, and very comfortable cotton bedding. Kitchen had lits of cookware, spices, cuttlery, etc. Nearby community of Caledonia, has a small grocery store and Home Wardware. Owners were very easy to reach and pleasant. We want yo come again! If you want to unplug and rejuvenate, this is your spot.
