Cockatoo Cottage - Creek Swims, Mount Tamborine & Theme Park Fun!

Our home is just minutes from Gold Coast theme parks and the World Heritage Listed beauty of Mount Tamborine. Cool off in Tamborine Creek at the edge of the property in the natural swimming hole (conditions permitting) or simply unwind by the babbling creek surrounded by forest. Rainforest bush walks, wine tastings, dining options and local shops are a short distance away. Famous Gold Coast beaches beckon for those sunny Queensland days. Our home is central to all things memorable and fun!

This newly renovated home is modern and very comfortable for your stay. Rustic wooden features and indoor fireplace create a cosy, warm atmosphere.

Step outside to a large patio for those warm alfresco BBQ nights, or head across the creek bridge to the fire pit area. We have recently spotted platypus and turtles in Wongawallan Creek which runs along the back of the property.

The open-plan design seamlessly connects the spacious living, dining, and kitchen areas, providing a perfect flow to the green outdoor spaces. Our kitchen is the heart of the home, and fully equipped with everything you need to cook up a storm!

Unwind in comfort in the master bedroom with ensuite and built-in robes overlooking the trees and Wongawallan valley bushland. An additional Queen bedroom includes full wardrobes, and the two single beds in the third bedroom can comfortably accommodate an extra trundle bed upon request.

All beds are made with quality linen and fresh quality towels are provided. Extra towels are provided for beach days (please use instead of our white towels).

ACCESSIBILITY
The entire house is yours to enjoy! There are a couple of steps from the patio to the backyard and then over the bridge to the firepit area.

PARKING
Ample parking is available in the driveway as signed. Garage is not accessible to guests.

CHILDREN/INFANTS
Children are welcome please advise on booking how many children will stay and if you have a baby. Young children MUST be supervised as we are located along a creek which is not fenced.

CREEK
We are currently improving our property to include a future outdoor bath platform overlooking the creek, and regenerating the creek access. Access to the lower creek area is possible via the back right of the backyard and you are welcome to swim in the cool water (weather and conditions permitting). We ask you to take care and watch young ones at all times. The creek area is a stunning area with a wonderful bounty of native wildlife including turtles and platypus.
