The house is clean, comfortable and spacious! The pond is great for fishing, we caught fatfish, bass, crappie and bluegill. We will absolutely be back for another stay.
Me and my brother do a guys trip every year with our dad and our sons and nephews. We normally camp but due to all the closings this year we decided to try this out. First time doing anything as far as reservations and it was very simple. Property was absolutely beautiful, scenery was perfect, and we enjoyed fishing in the pond! I personally couldn’t have asked or imagined a better experience, thanks guys!
Property was nice, fishing in pond wa great. We really enjoyed our trip. House needs some repairs, outlets in master bathroom don’t work, dish washer has not been secured but is a nice get away and close to town. Owner is great with anything you may need.
Check-in was a breeze. We were even allowed to check-in early. Very clean. Well stocked ( though could have had a couple more wash cloths). Good location for our purpose

Gray stay
The cabin was great! Clean, very comfortable beds. Beautifully furnished. The kitchen was huge. Screen porch relaxing. We caught bass in the pond. Would recommend. Good location for day trips to the Ark. Shaker village and Cumberland falls.
The cabin was, in a word, outstanding! Very comfortable, clean, and beautifully maintained. We could well appreciate the high standards of the owners. The immaculate kitchen was a good size and well appointed with whatever we needed to prepare meals and clean up afterward. The living room and bedrooms quite relaxing. Of special note was the view of the pond from the enclosed porch; what a great way to contemplate the peacefulness of the scene and feel the cares of the world fade into oblivion. Most assuredly five stars out of five!
Very nice piece of property. It is set back in the woods which makes it very quiet and peaceful but was also very convenient to visit family. It was clean and comfortable for the whole family.
Pros:The house was tucked away by it’s self, it was super spacious, the kitchen was stocked well, clean & the beds were all very comfortable!! We played lots of ping pong! We loved being able to fish, even though we never caught anything! Close to town for restaurants & groceries. Cons:Taking the trash out when we left was a pain, there was no grill, there were no wash cloths in the bathroom, there was only one tv, living room furniture wasn’t comfortable at all & the lawn needed to be mowed!
It was a nice vacation getaway. Nice, outdoor location away from the city, but close enough to get food, groceries, and visit shops. The only problem was locating the dumpster (up the hill about a tenth of a mile) to get rid of trash.

Amazing property at an Amazing Price
I would definitely stay here again. It is beautiful and the inside is so neat and clean. Has a fire pit, a picnic table, screened porch and a fishing pond. We stayed out hiking and boating most of the time but it was the perfect place to come back to. The only incident we had was the neighbors called the owner because my son spun gravel in the driveway. It's a pretty steep slope coming out the back. And we never had any other run ins with the neighbors at all. Would highly recommend.

Cute
All in all the property wasn’t too bad. There were a few things I wasn’t happy with . There was very limited seating for the outside if u wanted to enjoy a fire. No bbq grill and whoever cleans didn’t clean the master shower well or the ice maker as mold was building up in it . No garbage bag in any cans and no place to put the garbage on site if you needed to take out the trash (which was a check out requirement). I messaged to find a location to take it out with no response. There’s 3 cameras on the house which I didn’t like . Was a bit overkill and seemed odd . Over all of that the house was cute and the pond view was great for morning coffee on the porch .

Very disappointed that we had to pay a cleaning fee because my wife had to spend a lot of time cleaning in the kitchen before she was able to put groceries in the refrigerator and cook meals. The refrigerator had not been wiped out since the last guest. It was very dirty. There were food crumbs under the dining room table and the table was covered in dried food. One of the plates in the cabinet had a greasy smear on it. The kitchen floor was absolutely filthy. My wife and grandchild went without shoes for a few hours resulting in a coating of black, greasy dirt on their feet. The bath/shower in the main area had to be scrubbed before we could bathe our grandchild. Neither of the showers drained properly making us have to stand in nasty water while taking showers. The yard had not been mowed so trying to walk to the pond as an amputee was very difficult. The fishing poles were unusable because they were a tangled mess. Luckily I had brought my own. The fire pit was overgrown thus being a fire hazard with chairs that were unaccessible due to the tall grass. The house and property are lovely. The location was very nice, close to shopping, restaurant and Laurel River Lake. The view of the pond was very relaxing from the covered porch and deck area. This COULD have been a great stay. I would recommend a new cleaning/ maintenance service.
