About this property

Beachfront Property with Pool Is Your Own Piece of Paradise

The property is almost a hectare (around 2.25 acres) and features: a main house with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, kitchen, porch, patio, and two dining tables. The pool has two separate living areas, a shaded one and a deck up front. A separate cottage (honeymoon suite) has a king-size bed, a beautiful half-open bathroom and private terrace. There are a trampoline and a zip-line for the kids in backyard, as well as plenty of board games. Hi-speed WiFi throughout the property and cable TV in the living room (main house). Sleeps 10 people max.

A rancho (straw hut) has a dining table and plenty of hammocks and couches with great views of the beach. The deck/pool has an unimpeded, 180-degree view of the ocean, with outdoor furniture, including tanning chairs. A small house for the handyman/gardener is next to the entrance to the property.

The experience is one of beauty, peace, and tranquility. With no immediate neighbors, the place is private and secluded. At night you hear nothing but crickets and crashing waves, and when the sky is clear it fills up with stars. The houses and hut have a rustic feel with modern convenience.

Lorenzo, the caretaker/cook comes in everyday from 8 am to around 3 pm (after lunch). He does all the housekeeping and cooks breakfast and lunch. He doesn't speak English well but simple Spanish will suffice (and now he's a master with the translation app). He's hardworking, extremely nice, and has plenty of experience with foreign guests.

The beach is a famous surfing destination, yet parts of it have no or small waves were kids and less experienced swimmers can enjoy the ocean. A small river meets the ocean right in front of the house, giving the place an added water experience.

Just 2 Km away on the Panamerican Highway is Coronado, which offers restaurants, supermarkets, specialty food stores, shopping centers, drugstores, banks, a hospital and a 18-hole golf course. A 45-minute drive in the other direction is El Valle (The Valley) de Anton, where you can enjoy hiking, mountain climbing, water falls, horseback ridding, bird watching, bike ridding, canopy tours, hot springs, and a local market on the weekends.

Family Friendly Paradise

This house is your own piece of paradise and was perfect for our family after a busy time in Panama City. You felt like you were on your own island, but several amenities and experiences were a close drive nearby. The grounds, amenities and view were perfect. The pool is great for younger aged children. We'd love to come back on our next trip to Panama.

Barcovento vacation!

Lorenzo and Sarita are gems, they made the stay even better. House is beautiful and view from the back porch of the pool and the beach is even better in person. There are many sitting/lounge areas to enjoy the view. Private bedroom or “casita” is one of the sleep options which is lovely! The mealsLorenzo and Sarita prepared were amazing and very fresh. Relaxing if you want that or can visit el Valle de Antón with a car. Would definitely stay again!!!!

A little slice of paradise

Beautiful property, beautiful landscaping, wonderful caretaker, pool was great, beautiful views of the Pacific. The sound of the waves put us to sleep each night. Caretaker fixed us great breakfasts and lunches each day. Hats off to Lorenzo the caretaker.

Beachfront Property with pool was truly our own piece of paradise.

Our family had a fabulous stay at property. The house was excellent, and the swimming pool was a major highlight—we all loved it, especially the kids! The location offered both privacy and convenient beach access, making it easy to enjoy surfing, body surfing, and boogie boarding while other family members relaxed by the pool. Lorenzo was an outstanding host, providing us with delicious breakfasts and dinners. His thoughtful touch extended to a detailed shopping list that made our trips to the local market much easier. By the end of our stay, we were already discussing plans to return. We can't wait for another visit!

The property offers ample space, tranquility, and a stunning pool with beautiful ocean views. Lorenzo, who prepared delicious breakfasts and lunches, truly enhanced our experience. If you're seeking a peaceful, charming, and private retreat, this place will exceed your expectations. We spent the majority of our time at Punta Barco, only heading into Panama City for our final night to explore the city. With the property being about 90 minutes from the city, we were conveniently closer to the airport for our departure the following morning. Everything went flawlessly. Highly recommend.

Relax

The house and pool are awesome. Total relaxing environment. Lorenzo, the grounds keeper is so much more than just keeping the place clean, he can cook too! There was no work whatsoever. The only drawback for me is I like to walk to the local places and you have to drive everywhere from here. But, if you like chilling in privacy, you cannot beat this place! It is everything as advertised and more.

Simply gorgeous!

Superb views. Lovely pool and property. Lorenzo, the caretaker and so much more, cooked 3 authentic Panamanian dishes - delicious! He also helped us get fresh fish which he also cooked perfectly. And when we had a flat tire, he recommended a tire shop and then went with us to make sure the repair was done well. It was. Andres was helpful with answers (and we were helpful with improving his directions to the house.😉) If you love the heat and the beach, you will be very happy here.

Absolutely Dreamy!

As others said, the pictures really do not do this property justice! Can't say enough good things about our time there. We have 3 kids under 6 years old and they all had the time of their life swimming in the pool, exploring the property, and on the beach. They were some games for all ages and a play kitchen, which were perfect for kids. Lorenzo (the home's caretaker) cooks breakfast and lunch each day, does dishes, sweeps the inside and outside, and does laundry. The kids enjoyed visiting the chickens that are next to Lorenzo's gate house. The best kept and best stocked home rental I have ever been to (and I consider myself someone with high standards). We will most definitely be back!

Exceeds All Expectations

From start to finish a sublime experience. We are a family of 6, with a 5 year old. We felt so cared for by Lorenzo, with his cooking us breakfast, setting up the grill for us for dinners and taking care of the property. This is the most beautiful place and you can feel the love that went into building the home. We saw parakeets and a gorgeous iguana in the trees. Loved having the ocean right there for swimming and the infinity pool to lounge around. Our 5 yr. Old granddaughter learned to swim there. Andres is always a call away when you have questions. Our best experience ever!!!

Everything advertised and more!

If looking for a relaxing time on a beach, this is a great choice! The location is ideal (yet, you must have a car!), Lorenzo and Jackie are wonderful (although communication was difficult since they only speak Spanish), the dog becomes your best friend instantly, evenings listening to the ocean and star gazing and morning coffee in the yard before spending time in the ocean is amazing! As an added bonus the vendor trucks that come around 7 am are a fun experience! We bought cheese, melons and fish from them. Lorenzo even cleaned and seasoned the sea bass for us for our dinner that night! Andres was good to deal with and even found some kayaks for us when we requested information about rental. Overall, we had a great experience.

Complete Panamanian Beach Experience

I'm originally from Panama but I've been living in Miami, FL for the past 14 years so I was looking for a house with a real Panamanian feel and I hit the jackpot with this house!. I went for 4 nights with my family and friends (husband, 2 boys, mother, ant and 2 friends) and had a wonderful time. The view of the house is just unique!, it looks directly to a local surf spot, the beach called playa Teta so there was activity around us during the day which was lots of fun. The beach is beautiful and you can enjoy it even better when is low tide. The house itself is well maintained, very cozy and relax but with all the necessary commodities like tv cable, wifi, full kitchen and a/c. The property sits on a hill with plenty of space to play around. In the case of my boys they were more than happy to be able to roam around with no trouble. We will definitely be back to this house in the near future. We made great memories in this house.

Andres is a fantastic host. Lorenzo (and his family) is an incredibly helpful on-site property manager and phenomenal cook. The property and pool was even better then what the pics reflect, and the beach location was wonderfully secluded and quiet. This was just perfect for the relaxing time we were looking for.

Great beach and refreshing pool!

We had a great time in Panama! The house had a beautiful view and the pool was a much needed refresher on the hot Panamanian afternoons! The beach changes every day! One day it was so far out that there were lots of locals hunting for oysters. Such a cool thing to experience! We went to Panama for the fishing and boy did we get some fish! We went out with Majo Fishing Charter for 2 1/2 days of our trip out of Vista Mar Marina in San Carlos (just 15-20 min away) and caught almost 50 fish! A mix of albacore and yellowfin tuna and Spanish mackerel. What an amazing experience! We will definitely return to this area in the future to try our luck on some Wahoo!

A perfect piece of paradise

We had an incredible stay at Andres’ gorgeous property! The location couldn’t be more serene and beautiful, but it’s still very easy to get to lots of great shopping, restaurants, and other conveniences. The grounds are lovely and we spent lots of time in the pool and on the hammocks, and the covered patio is a perfect spot for dinner, relaxing, and staying out of the odd tropical rainstorm. Lorenzo cooked incredibly delicious breakfasts and Panamanian lunches for us each day, and is so very kind and sweet! We also fell in love with his two adorable dogs who would come visit for morning pets, and we’ve never had a tastier lemon than the ones that came from the tree on the property. We can’t wait to come back!

Dream Beach Stay!

First let me say, pictures do not do this beautiful spot in the world, justice! The outdoor space is just incredible. In the month we stayed there, every single day was spent outside from 7 AM until 7 PM. The view alone, is worth a stay, but pair that with incredible daily service and you won't want to leave. We found the property to be tidy, clean and well appointed. The interior is more than sufficient, but given the outdoor space, you'll only want to come in to sleep at night. One tip - ask for advice on your grocery list so that Lorenzo can prepare local dishes for breakfast and lunch! Yum!

Beautiful

We were a family of 2 adults and 2 children. We loved the property because it is a rural setting with all the comforts of home. The people looking after the property are an important plus since they look after you, clean the property and even cook for you. We loved the location, the athmosphere and it was an ideal break which we needed after spending long quarantine periods in the capital city. We would strongly recommend this property and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Beautiful and fun pring break destination!

Our group of 7 (4 adults and 3 teen boys) had a wonderful week in this pretty beach home. The house is fully equipped with all you need to enjoy a relaxing vacation. The beach offers great waves for hours of fun. Lorenzo was incredibly accommodating (and very patient with my intermediate Spanish) and, along with Lorena, cooked up some delicious meals! We are very grateful we had the opportunity to spend our spring break here. Thanks for everything :)

A great escape from winter and wonderful opportunity to experience Panamanian hospitality!

This property is an easy drive from Panama City. It is most comfortable, spacious and attractive; with the main house, adjacent separate private cottage and beautiful landscaping all very well-maintained and enjoyable. It has fabulous ocean views, convenient access to the beach, where we were entertained daily by the local surfers, as well as many pelicans, frigate birds, egrets and many other sea-side birds. Lorenzo, the care-taker/gardener and Jackie, the maid/cook were most welcoming and continually helpful, and are essentially 'at your service' throughout the day. The nearby town of Coronado has great restaurants and all your shopping needs. It is a great place to relax, unwind and enjoy the colourful Panamanian Pacific sea-side.
