The house was in a great location. A bit tricky to find at night, but not impossible. The house was well equipped and comfortable for 6 adults.Easy walk to town for shopping and restaurants.

Loved our little weekend get away, The house is such a perfect location and the dinner recommendations were top notch. Everything really is walkable from the house, We went to the opera house, the Thistle Inn and then did some shopping (we actually drove because the temperatures took quite a dip for October. Thank you for a lovely place!!!

We had a wonderful stay and found the house to be very clean and organized. The home's location is close to town which was very convenient. David was very helpful with suggestions and advice! Would definitely recommend.

This was a beautiful home on beautiful property. The walk to shops and restaurants was perfect. David was most welcoming and kind. The Best. We would love to return some day.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location was ideal . . . very close to shops, restaurants and the footbridge. The house was lovely! We sat in in the sunroom each morning and also utilized the deck. Everything was great!

Maine was particularly hot this time. The lack of even a window unit made sleep unbearable. If a location is going to provide accommodations in the summer, you MUST spring for a window unit. The upstairs rooms were 80 plus degrees at night. Will seek a different VRBO next time that provides the minimum comfort at night. Otherwise the place was very nice, great location.

Thanks for the suggestion but this was the hottest year in many years. It’s usually low humidity but this year was different. The big windows and the ceiling fans generally make the sleeping conditions quite comfortable.

We spent three nights at this location, which is just a short walk from the commercial area of Boothbay Harbor. In addition to restaurants in town it is only minutes away from Robinson's Wharf, which had some of the best food we experienced in 14 days of travel - definitely the best lobster. The house was as advertised and suited our needs well.

We love the sun room as a play area, the deck for dining, and the roomy and well-equipped kitchen. Being right in town removes the hassle of parking and lets you walk all around Boothbay and the harbor.

Great place, great location!

The house was in a great location, close to restaurants and shops. We walked downtown. The bedrooms were comfortable and clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Cabbage island clambake trip.

Excellent location with large rooms and comfortable furnishings. This was our 2nd stay as we thoroughly enjoyed our previous one 2 years ago. Ample parking and an easy walk to shops and restaurants.

Great property!

We loved staying here and it was perfect location within walking distance to downtown boothbay harbor. House was very clean with good size bedrooms and 2 full bath. Would highly recommend!

Host communication was excellent. Location was ideal, walkable to the Boothbay Harbor attractions. Nice new wooden floors upstairs with the bedrooms. No AC which was fine for our stay. We must have stayed the first of the season, as the negatives were related to this. The toilets were disgusting with a foul odor and green mold on toilet seats, presumably from 9 months of zero use and the maids not cleaning prior to our arrival. Either way they should be replaced. All else with home was fine.

The house was closed for the season and this was the first booking which was the reason for the smell. The toilet smell was addressed and now it is fine.

Best in Boothbay

It was our third time staying on this property...the beds are so comfortable we didn't want to leave...the house is located a nice distance from town...a quick 5 minute walk...just far enough away you don't hear any in town noises at night..sunrises in the porch or dining room are beautiful...already planning our next trip there

Nice House in a Great Location

My family was very happy with our stay. The house was pleasant, clean, and well-maintained. The hosts were easy to reach with any questions, and were happy to share info about the Boothbay area. If you want to stay in Boothbay, you can't beat the location -- it's a quck walk to the center of town.

Great location

Perfect spot for our weekday get away. Walking distance to all the locations we needed. I would suggest an updated photo of the exterior of the property. We drove by ans missed the driveway,because the property was very unlike the image posted.

Location Location Location

We had a wonderful two nights at this gem. Just a short walk to downtown, we were able to easily do some shopping and sightseeing. Our first night we barbecued on the deck, the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. May places to chill out at this home, great seating and tables for playing games as well. Wouldn’t hesitate to choose this home again!!

Good location, walking distance to town. Great deck with privacy. Nice back yard with a fire pit nicely landscaped. Would recommend and we would definitely stay again. Beds were all comfortable. Our family truly enjoyed the stay. Only one issue our stay just wasn’t long enough!!

The house was ready on time and clean...location was perfect for great walks through town... kitchen has plenty of the essentials.. owner has a wonderful response rate and gave us several ideas on where to have a great dinner...already looking forward to our next trip..
