Beachy Keen was a lovely place to stay. It was clean and had everything we needed to make our visit comfortable. The beach was beautiful and Wilmington is roughly a 30 minute drive away if you want to go out for a nice dinner or do some shopping.

The only issue we had was the key pad to the door would not work with the code on day 2 after coming up from the beach. I had my phone and was able to call and get it straightened out quickly. Just worrisome for a few minutes. Apparently I needed to pull back on the door and it may have been jammed? Never had that issue before, but it was a good lesson. Everything else was great. Clean, easy access to the beach.

I regret that the door may have been jammed and that you had to troubleshoot it yourself. I will look into the keypad and door alignment to help prevent this kind of concern in the future.

Perfect location

This is a great little rental for a family of 4. The unit was very clean, the beds and furniture comfortable, kitchen had everything needed for preparing meals. The location is perfect! Very easy walk to the beach as well as food, shops and boardwalk area.

Wonderful stay at Beachy Keen!

Fantastic stay right on Carolina Beach. The property was exactly as described. Having your own washing machine and drying unit is a major plus!! Would highly recommend Beachy Keen as a stay right on the NC beach.

Our family ‘herd’ vacations at Carolina Beach every summer. We loved our stay at Beachy Keen. It was clean, convenient to the beach and a perfect summer break! Would stay again for sure!

Perfect location

We have been visiting CB annually for many years. We have stayed many places and this location was perfect - walking distance to the boardwalk and all the restaurants and shops. Not to mention right on the beach with private access! Would definitely stay here again! Rental company was communicative and so easy to work with!

Great Getaway

Our vacation was great. The location of the property was perfect as it beachfront but also slightly removed from the noise of the boardwalk blocks. The condo was nice and comfortable. I would book again.

Great Stay!

We really enjoyed our time at Beachy Keen the location was perfect with small kids easy to walk back and forth to the condo from the beach and the pool was a great size for them too. We were able to walk to the boardwalk area and it’s very convenient to lots of other shops and restaurants. The condo itself was clean and the space worked well for our family of 4.

The condo was clean. The ocean view in the picture is accurate, but there is a unit above with a clear view. Access to beach was good.

Beautiful property, clean, well taken care of. Check in process and communications were top notch. Location to the beach was perfect. Cleanliness was evident and presentation was on point. Unit is a bit aged with decorations and the towels could use a refresh as they seemed to be a bit old. Also just a suggestion, not a knock, would be convenient if there were toiletries included with the stay (IE Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash, etc). Overall great experience and loved the stay. Would 100% stay here again.

Carolina Beach retreat.

Nice property. The only thing that was missing was a iron. We also had issues with a terrible smell from the outside garbage containers.

No view. The advertisement claimed that there were excellent views of the ocean. In reality, you cannot even see the ocean unless you are standing up in the living room. The "view" is of the back of the high sand dunes.

Great oceanfront location!

My friends and I enjoyed this property with it's easy access to the beach and also short walk to the Boardwalk area. One suggestion we had is that more seating be added to the balcony area. There's only two chairs, which doesn't match the occupancy of the unit.
