Grand Lowcountry Home with 5 bedrooms, 5.5 BA, private pool, near beach!

Welcome to this amazing Lowcountry style home located in Wild Dunes Resort, this home offers with a private pool and is just a short walk to the ocean!

As your enter your will step into and open and spacious living room filled with plush seating where all can gather. Just off the living room is an amazing gourmet kitchen with everything you need for entertaining including a gas stove, subzero refrigerator/freezer, an oversized kitchen island that seats six, granite counter-tops, hardwood floors, and a large pantry. In the dining room there is a large dining table that seats 10.

Just off the living room, you’ll step onto a large screened in porch with outdoor seating and dining that overlooks the pool oasis. Off the screen porch there are stairs leading down to the private swimming pool with water fall feature and built in seating/spa (does not heat). The pool deck connects to a covered outdoor shower situated in-between the two car garage and the ground floor indoor space.

The ground floor level consists of a bonus room with comfortable seating and pool table for family fun time and a large bedroom with one king and two twin beds.

The main sleeping quarters on the top floor are comprised of the grand primary bedroom that includes a king sized bed, a fireplace, a sitting desk, and the primary bathroom complete with double sinks, a soaking tub, and a wraparound vanity. Apart from the primary bedroom there are 2 other bedrooms; one with another king bed and the final bedroom has two queen sized beds. Also located on this floor is a large laundry room with utility sink. There is a TV in each bedroom.

Wild Dunes Resort is a private gated resort that offers two of the most scenic golf courses in South Carolina, the Links Course and the Harbor Course. Dine out at one of our many on-property restaurants offering everything from seafood to Southern staples. Head to downtown Charleston to soak in the beauty, history, culture and cuisine of the city. And of course, enjoy the beautiful Isle of Palms beach.

Lovely house close to the beach

Beds are some of the most comfortable I've experienced in a rental; the kitchen is a home-chef's dream come true; the screened in porch is a perfect spot to camp out with a book or meal; and the pool was in use sunup to sundown. We especially appreciated the two-car garage to stow away wagons and bikes. The house is located right on Wild Dunes bike paths and we enjoyed daily bike rides. The absolutely only "con" in our book was the walk to the beach -- we weren't expecting a full flight of stairs up and down to pass through the alley, which made it a bit difficult with little kids and wagons -- but we easily adapted and the near-private stretch of beach was worth it (as were the rented umbrellas and chairs).We had two minor maintenance needs and a few questions during our stay -- Island Realty management was super responsive and very easy to work with. Highly recommend this company and property. We'd rent again in a heartbeat!

We did get called on by a neighbor for noise at 7:00ish and threatened to call the cops. Just adults listening to music and chatting on the back porch by the pool. I would not rent this house if you plan on porch sitting or dining outside. We tried to keep everything inside after that so we didnt use the pool area or much after that.

We rented low speed vehicles and enjoyed cruising around the area. The pool was lovely and very refreshing in August. There are no stairs into the pool so we needed to provide a little extra support for the young ones and older folks in our party. The rental company was very responsive to any questions we had! We hope to be back!

Relax and Reconnect at 2 Fisher’s Alley

Our family of 8, seven adults and one toddler, had plenty of room to relax and reconnect with each other. We so enjoyed all of the comfortable spots throughout the home to hang out, play, and sleep. Both the front porch with the rockers and the back screened in porch with table and chairs were relaxing spots to enjoy each other’s company. The pool was delightful, with shade to protect our grandson and our fair-skinned family members as well as sun for the rest of us in which to bask. It was a short quarter of a mile walk to the beach. We rented an umbrella and chairs which were set up on the beach for us daily although the house did have some chairs to use. I’d rent the chairs all over again as it made this sixty-something grandmother’s walk so much easier! We used the beautiful kitchen daily to make our meals and enjoyed eating together at the huge dining table. 2 Fisher’s Alley was just as pictured; simply stunning! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

You have to cross a busier street, so really little ones probably can't wander there themselves. Our age 70s parents made the walk no problem. Beach access itself is great; not super crowded. Renting chairs and umbrellas was well worth it. House has most items you need for a vacation - entertainment, etc. Kitchen is well stocked, though not condiments, etc. It's clean, updated, nicely decorated and the porches are amazing extra space.
