The location was great close to everything, the entire villa was very spacious, with excellent amenities. The proximity to the woods to hear the birds in the morning was the highlight for me.

We enjoyed the spacious property and the decks watching wildlife . The power did go out several times but would come back on after a little bit . I felt like we bothered the concierge when notifying him the key given to us didn't lock one of the doors so didn't use their service or housekeeping. The property was as advertised and well kept .

House was amazing! Beautifully and comfortably furnished, with great decks for wildlife viewing. We saw squirrel monkeys, Capuchin monkeys, howler monkeys, and macaws. It was nice to have the pool after a busy day of hiking. Our stay was wonderful!

Beautiful setting - feels like you are in the middle of the jungle. Could spend all day on one of the decks listening to and spotting animals. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable bedrooms with AC. Nice open floor plan.

Tradewinds Villa was a wonderful stay for our family. And our concierge, Andrey, was very helpful. We awoke to monkeys jumping in the trees and could relax in the pool and on the hammock on the back porch.Highly recommend!!

Amazing house

Great property to stay at with a good secluded vibe for relaxing with the family. House had all the amenities necessary for us to live there for however long you’d want to.

The treehouse was amazing!

This is perfect for a family with teens because we could spread out and have our own space. Location was great! concierge was amazing when we were looking for taxis. Kids loved the pool after a long day of activity. Thanks for having us!

This house was perfect for my family. The wrap around porch is where we spent all of our time. The casita downstairs was a perfect space for my 17 & 20 yr old to have their own space. The house had everything we needed. House keeping came every other day. They were so sweet and helpful. The house is also in a great location.

Amazing Stay

This was a true wonderland of nature! The house has everything you could possibly need and is very comfortable. Any issue is addressed immediately by the management staff. We were visited daily by monkeys, macaws, toucans, iguanas, frogs, etc.. It was so relaxing and peaceful. This is a wonderful place!

Epic Perfection!!

This was a dream house for us! My kids lived in the pool. Cleaners came every 2 day. The macaws and monkeys come and visit. Wraparound porch was so peaceful. There are so many steps but totally worth the trip up every time. The driveway is scary at first but with our 4x4 it was no problem. We stayed in the June rainy season but the weather was amazing even when raining. You have to go visit

House in the trees

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The place is nestled on top of a steep hill but we managed to come and go easily and stairs with older kids was no problem and quite nice to give them their own level below. The AC was nice to have in each bedroom. Could use one more stand fan in the family room. The pool was refreshing. The manager was very responsive and set up excursions for us making the stay so much more fun I recommend this place!

Super cool layout; loved the master bedroom at the tree top level, listening to noises of the animals at night and watching the monkeys one morning! The three sided wrap around deck and indoor / outdoor living space is divine. The driveway was challenging -- we had a 4x4 so it was ok; I don't recommend anything less. The lower guest house was functional, however the occupants felt safer sleeping with the doors locked and AC on, so they weren't able to enjoy the sounds of nature. We did not take advantage of the concierge service, based on how we pre-planned our trip. If you are booking this place, I highly recommend you do so. That would have enhanced our trip, but this was our mistake!

Great treehouse stay

This property was perfect for our large family. The lower suite was great for our four teenagers. The location was ideal for exploring Manuel Antonio NP and Rainmaker Conservation Park (which we highly recommend). The wrap around deck was perfect for watching and listening to birds, including toucans and macaws. We didn't see any monkeys at the house, but there was construction nearby which may have impacted that. The kitchen was very well equipped. Check in and communication were excellent! Note, the driveway is very, very steep!

Spacious home with guest casita

We enjoyed our stay so much!! This tropical treehouse has a beautiful master suite with balcony on the top level. The main level is a spacious kitchen and living room area that opens on three sides to the wrap around porch and jungle beyond. You're living in a treehouse. The porch has a pool, rocking chairs, hammock, grill, and dining table. There is a guest casita one level below with two bedrooms and a shared bathroom. Ideally located between Quepos and Manuel Antonio. There is a quaint restaurant near the bottom of the (steep) driveway that serves breakfast and dinner daily. distance.

This multi-level treehouse nestled in the jungle was one of the coolest places we've ever stayed. Waking up to toucans in the trees outside the balconies became a morning ritual, and on our second day, a troop of capuchin monkeys came down to cool off in the pool - an unforgettable moment for the whole family.A heads-up for visitors: you'll want a 4x4 vehicle. The driveway up to the property is very steep by North American standards and wouldn't be manageable without one.Our concierge Andrey was fantastic - friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with. The staff were equally impressive: professional, uniformed, and efficient, with housekeeping every two days and a pool maintenance tech who came to check on things. Everything ran like clockwork.The kitchen is well stocked with cooking tools - we didn't want for anything. One tip: bring your own laundry detergent (appropriately not provided), but the washer/dryer was a game-changer during our trip. The AC in the bedrooms worked great. The main living area doesn't have AC and can get warm, but the inside-outside living design makes it part of the charm rather than an issue. Beds were comfortable and linens clean.Local amenities are plentiful - the 2CostaRica group helped us book a white water rafting trip with Amigos del Rio that was absolutely unbelievable and well worth every penny.We'd highly recommend this property to anyone looking for an immersive jungle experience with all the comforts of home.

Dad & college son

Good location and a beautiful home about 10 minutes by car to the beach. The property look exactly like the photos. I was extremely disappointed to find there is no air conditioning in the main living space in the house. After rereading the listing, it states the bedrooms are air conditioned, but it’s buried deep in the description. The support staff (maids, pool cleaner, maintenance) were there frequently and unannounced. It made me feel like we didn’t have privacy. Overall, the home was lovely, the hosts were quick to respond, and the efforts of the staff were well intentioned (but a little too invasive for my tastes). If you’re aware of these going in, don’t mind no AC in the kitchen/living/dining room and expect the maid service, you’ll have a pleasant stay.

I have revised the description taking into account your feedback regarding A/C in the main living space. Given the vaulted ceiling and indoor-outdoor living space, it would be difficult for A/C to cool the room adequately. We are in the process of adding another ceiling fan in the kitchen to move more air around and cool the space more effectively. Trade Winds Villa

The house is a very lovely home. We really appreciated the deck that wrapped around 3 sides of the house. Especially as we had some very fair people in our group. The amount if wildlife we saw was awesome. Toucans, macaws, spider monkeys, capuchin monkeys, lizards, iguanas, and sloths. All from the wrap around deck. Just 2 things I would recommend you keep in mind concerning this property. One is the number of steps into the property. There are 51 steps up to the lower level of the house where 2 of the bedrooms are and then 17 more to the main level of the house. Then16 more to the master bedroom. So everyone needs to be fairly mobile to use it. Then the driveway is extremely steep. We got a taxi back one day from market and grocery shopping and the driver refused to take us up. His car couldn't make it. Thank you for letting us enjoy your property.

A little slice of rainforest heaven!

This property is absolutely stunning, in both its architecture and surrounding views. The house itself is exactly as pictured in the listing. The expansive ceilings, huge sliding doors leading out to both the front porch and pool in the back, and well appointed kitchen all made for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The guest house was an amazing addition to the property and provided our two teenagers a fun place to stay. The pool was the perfect place to take a dip to cool down after a day of excursions. And we thoroughly enjoyed the wrap-around porch to enjoy the sights and sounds of the abundant wildlife. Frequent visitors included monkeys, iguanas, macaws, and toucans. Our one complaint is that, for some reason, the property scheduled painters to come to work on the external walkways and stairways, which scared away the wildlife on those days. That should have been scheduled when there were no guests there! Although not a complaint, it is important to mention (as it is not clear in the listing) that the driveway to the house is incredibly steep. Our rented 4x4 SUV could get up it, but the issues came when larger vans picked us up for excursions and could not get up the driveway. So we had to walk down and back up again, which was quite arduous. Elderly, disabled, or simply out-of-shape people would have an incredibly hard (if not impossible) time with this. Lastly, our concierge, Jorge, was an incredible support and asset for every aspect of our stay. Highly recommend!!!

The house was beautiful! The kids stayed in the two bedrooms on the first floor, and the master suite on the top floor was beautiful. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the pool was so pretty to sit in and watch the birds. Location was great. Just minutes from the heart of Quepos and not far from Manuel Antonio.
