Take that much needed vacation away from it all and relax in this beautiful 15th floor, gulf front condo at Summerwinds West #1501. Located within walking distance to the longest pier along the gulf coast, restaurants and so much more, this condo is the perfect getaway for anyone.

This condo has recently been completely remodeled and offers gorgeous views of the gulf and the white sandy beaches of Navarre Beach from the wrap around balcony. This condo sleeps up to 8 people comfortably. The master bedroom has 1 King and balcony access. The second bedroom offers 1 Queen and faces the north towards the Santa Rosa Sound. The third bedroom offers a bunk bed with a full on the bottom and twin on the top. Perfect for the kiddos! Each bedroom has a flat screen TV and it's own bathroom. The living room has a small sleeper sofa.

Summerwinds West amenities include a pool, hot tub, fitness room, BBQ area and a local store that offers bicycle rentals and so much more.

Everything was exactly the way it was portrayed online. Rooms were very clean and had everything as described. Beautiful view of the ocean overlooking the pier. Direct access to a nice clean beach. Everyone was very friendly and it has a very calm and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend this for your next family vacation getaway.

Great Location

We traveled here with another family and the condo had adequate space for the 4 adults and 3 kids (1 4 yo and 2 7 yos). We loved the location and the view from the balcony was amazing. Our only complaints would be that the couches could use a deep clean and the dryer was atrocious (it took over 5 hours to dry a load of towels). Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Nice beach get away

We enjoyed our stay at Summerwind. Overall the condo was as described, comfortable and a nice beach location. For future guests I would recommend the following : replace the washer and dryer; add a second chair for outdoor hi top table; more acrylic/plastic glasses/dishes.

The apartment was well provisioned.Checking in and checking out was very easy. The building is very well maintained. The cleaning service could use some monitoring. Most of the cleaning was around and not under. Looks clean on a walk through but when I moved furniture, additional cleaning had to be done.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is a real gem. It is very well furnished, clean and quiet. The responsiveness of the managers to maintenance issues was outstanding. Several deficiencies that were discovered after occupancy were obviously due to not being reported by the previous tenants. The location of the Summerwinds condominiums is ideal. There is easy and quick access to food (groceries) ,fuel ,medical services and restaurants. Several good restaurants are within walking distance. Neighboring communities such as Pensacola, Ft Walton Beach and Destin are easily to get to. I look forward to my return.

Could be a great condo - NEEDS some attention

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This could be a great condo - because the view is amazing. However - there are multiple maintaince concerns & housekeeping issues that need to be addressed. The blind in the primary bedroom over the door is broken and we were unable to use the door for the week. The shower head in the primary bathroom sprays water all over and leaks when you try to adjust. The dryer needed to be ran 3-4 times to dry clothes. One walk across the floor and my socks were covered in dirt. The cooking pans (or lack there of) need to be replaced. I did not report these issues while there becuase housekeeping should have done so prior to our arrival. I also did not want to wait around for someone to show up. We will rent directly from Narvarre Properties for our yearly stay.

This property needs serious maintenance. The heavy, large shade in the master bedroom was broken and in the closed position the entire stay. So much for ocean view. The pullout sofa was atrocious. I would not let a dog lay on that mattress. Cushions were soiled and have seen better days. The "code" to get the elevator to go to the 15th floor was not given to us. Therefore, we hauled everything - luggage, groceries, beach toys, etc etc - from the 14th floor. No one mentioned the building had only one working elevator. Tub drain was broken, fan in queen bathroom did not work, several light bulbs out. Bunk beds were not made. Sheets piled on the beds. This unit has potential and generous space. It just needs maintenance before it gets rented again.

Vacation at Summerwinds Wedt

We had a nice time. The unit and view were both nice. There was only one working elevator which was an issue because the complex was at capacity.

Beautiful view and condo

Incredible condo, clean, lots of room, and had all we needed! Stunning view! We saw so many dolphins out the balcony! Beach service was wonderful!! We are already planning our next trip down!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was magnificent when you open the front door and see the emerald coast. It was so refreshing and comfortable. The layout accommodated the 3 of us without any problems. We even was able to see dolphins from the balcony. The only recommendation is the balcony future to be upgraded like Adirondack chairs. It was a lovely week at the condo. The complementary beach chairs and umbrella were an asset.
