Casa Amor is outside downtown La Fortuna, approximately 15 minutes away by car. Plan on driving or arranging transportation for restaurants, groceries and excursions. It works well for families or a small group who prefer a garden setting and don't mind traveling into town. Travel times vary with traffic and road conditions.

Arenal Volcano is part of the scenery, but clouds and rain can hide it. The tropical setting also means you may encounter insects and wildlife.
