Ohiopyle Hobbit House
One of a kind Lord of The Rings themed Hobbit House. With hidden surprises around every turn, you won't stop uncovering small details that will add to your enjoyment during your stay. Almost everything in the house was custom made by the builder. It definitely adds to the unique charm of the house. From the midieval doors with operable speak easy look throughs and whiskey barrel cabinets, you won't stop finding the hidden treasures around the house. Listen to the sounds of the stream steps from the front door while you relax on the roof top patio or 3rd floor deck while reading one of the several provided J.R.R Tolkien books. Take a hike on the nearly mile long private trail system through the mountain laurel and hardwood forest while crossing over the many bridges along the way. There are just too many things to highlight on this one. You really don't need to leave the property to create life long memories, but if you want to add to your scrap book, you are just an 8 minute drive to Pennsylvanias largest state park, Ohiopyle. With world class white water rafting, amazing water falls, miles and miles of hiking trails, and a beautiful little mountain town, you'll never put your camera away. If that's not enough, just 18 minutes away, book a tour of the world renowned Frank Lloyd Wright's "Fallingwater". If history is more your thing, a 7 minute drive will bring you to President George Washington's first battle at Fort Necessity's National Battlefield. The Laurel Highlands simply has too much excitement to list on one page.
