Location was perfect, communication was above expectations and so easy. It is a lovely apartment with privacy. We had everything we needed and you can tell owners made an effort to make you feel welcome . They thought about every detail. Thank you again

Great Condo!! It was very clean, the rooms were beautiful and the location was great!!! I have been coming to the OBX for years and it was nice to have a place to relax by the beach and pool. We did get a little rain but the indoor pool, hot tub and visiting jockeys ridge was really nice after the rain and not too hot! Thank you!! :)

This was amazing. My boyfriend and I just needed to get away and although the weather was not on our side this weekend we still really enjoyed the indoor pool and hot Tub. The condo was clean and we had everything we needed to fix meals or drinks. Sitting on the balcony and enjoying the view of the ocean when we could. The location is excellent and the hostess and host were amazing at communication.

This condo is perfect for a family with kids. Everyone has their own space, balcony, and more. The unit was clean and very welcoming. One of the best places I have ever stayed at the beach! The owners are fast with responding and helpful in any way needed. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and would stay again myself!

Salty Shenanigans is a top notch property!! The beach access was great and the indoor pool and hot tub were perfect for our cold and rainy stay! We visit OBX a few times a year so the weather didn’t stop us from dipping our toes in the ocean and getting sand on our feet. The property was cozy, welcoming, and comfortable. It is conveniently located near shopping, restaurants, and activities. Katy was very responsive and accommodating!

My family and I really enjoyed this condo. The location is perfect for families looking to be right on the beach yet close to dining and other activities. The condo was well stocked, very comfortable and furnished well. Our stay was a week ahead of peak season so it was quiet and we had much of the property to ourselves. Any issues that came up, the owner was quick to respond to. The outdoor and indoor pools were heated and the hot tubs were great. The bathrooms on the pool deck were easy to access when by the pool or on the beach. They did need some cleaning, but this wasn't a fault to the condo owners. The owners have a beach locker with so many items you can borrow for the beach, what a huge bonus! We would definitely stay again!

Katy was very quick to respond to all questions and concerns. She was very accommodating. We had a wonderful Christmas creating lasting memories at the Salty Shenanigans! The weather was windy but it did not stop us from going to the beach daily! We enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub after coming back from the cool windy beach! Any time at the beach whether it is windy and cool or hot and sunny is better than any winter day in Ohio!

SPRING BREAK 2024

We LOVED our stay at Salty Shenanigans for Spring Break 2024. Great communication from the owners to ensure we had the best stay possible. Easy check-in process. The condo was very clean and well stocked for all our basic needs while in town. A huge perk was the ability to bring our Shih Tzu along for the trip and not have to board him at the dog kennel. The location and under building parking was great. It was cold during our stay so we didn't get to take advantage of all of the property amenities/pools on this trip. We will look forward to returning in the future. Book this condo and you won't be disappointed.

The property was beautiful and wonderful. We really enjoyed the space, both inside and the covered porches were wonderful. My only complaint was the property was extremely difficult to locate. I doubt this was the fault of the owner. The street number given did not exist. It would have been much more helpful to include the name of the condo complex and the unit number in the listing and confirmation. Giving only a property number was not helpful in locating the exact property and unit.

The condo was absolutely gorgeous, clean, spacious and perfect for our family of 4 for a long weekend! The condo was stocked with all the essentials we needed such as towels, linens, toilet paper, paper towels, coffees, spices, etc. The King master bed was a comfortable Tempurpedic type matress -perfect for us aging adults. Note that while the condo building is oceanfront the condo itself is on the side, so ocean views are only from the living room balcony looking down the side of the building and around some trees. Still great to listen to the waves, but dont expect to wake up and see the ocean from your room, living room, etc. Also, note that the outdoor pool and hot tub is closed during the off season and indoor pool was under maintenance during our stay (not a problem for us- but may want to check if important for your stay). Katy was an amazing host who checked in frequently for anything we needed and was great to work with. We would absolutely return to Salty Shenanigans and stay again and highly recommend for others.

Our communication with the host was excellent. The condo was very clean, we did not have a view of the beach, but to us that was not an issue or priority. The Hot tub by the outside pool needs some TLC. The hot tub by the inside pool was not usable due to a layer of something on the water.Everything else was 100%.
