Great Location: Park and Stay

We booked a *very* last minute stay in this property knowing it was atypical of the properties we would normally rent, but we wanted to experience 30A and have a decent beach view so this place fit the bill. The best part was we were able to park and stay parked for the 4 nights we were there with the necessary amenities walkable. This unit is located above Shelby's, so we enjoyed their live music each night from our balcony and in the mornings we enjoyed our beach view (while not unobstructed, very generous). Beach was a breeze to access. Of note, because this is a corner unit with lots of wonderful windows it's BRIGHT even with the shades drawn. If you are sensitive to the light, bring a sleep mask. It's also at the corner of an intersection, so it's not the quietest place, but some ear plugs will solve that. For us, the convenience of the location trumped all that.

Great spot

Unit was immaculate. Had all the features for a nice stay. Gulf Place is the perfect location for the beach and all the super restaurants in the area. Right across the street is Shunk Gully.

Cute and Convenient

This studio condo was nicely decorated. The bed and couch were comfortable. The condo is located across the street from public beach access as well as private beach access. There is a great view of the Gulf as well. Conveniently located. It can get a little noisy being above Shelby's and across from Shunk Gully but that wasn't an issue for us.

We loved the location and views from our condo, however, there were a few things missing that kept me from giving a 5/star review. First, it does not have central HVAC. The air conditioning unit was on one side of the condo, so the middle and the back of the condo never got down to temp. The refrigerator/freezer is a in cabinet drawer style, so it’s very small. We had to use 2 coolers to have plenty of cold water and drinks. We reported that the beach gate code was incorrect, but the rental company insisted it was not. A security guard gave us the correct code. The WiFi information was incorrect. The rental company insisted it was correct, but we found the correct code on the box. The instructions to locate the room were lacking, so perhaps a little more detail would be helpful. While these issues did not keep us from having a wonderful time, they did create some frustration. It was a great stay overall!

The units throughout the building are not equipped with central HVAC; instead, each unit has its own individual mini-split AC system. We understand this may cool differently than central air and appreciate your feedback regarding the temperature. We're especially sorry about the beach gate code. The code we provided was the most recent one we had received from the HOA, so we're not sure what happened. It's possible it was changed without us being notified. Regardless, we're sorry the information didn't work when you needed it, and we'll work on verifying and updating our information for future guests. We also appreciate you pointing out the WiFi information and directions. We'll review these details and make any necessary updates to make things clearer and easier for future guests. We understand the compact refrigerator may have limited capacity, particularly for larger groups, although it is the refrigerator provided with the property. We're sorry these issues caused frustration during an otherwise enjoyable stay, and we truly appreciate you bringing them to our attention. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future!

Love!

My husband and I loved staying here. We did not want to rent a car, so we wanted something that had things walking distance for us. We either walked or had to uber to a couple places (totally reasonable). The people we encountered were very friendly, the beach was beautiful and easy access across the street. The night life was not busy at all for the street we were on. We had very well communication with our host throughout the entire stay and the app that was recommended to us to download while staying was very helpful and user friendly. We highly recommend staying and hopefully we will be back!
