Villa Lapas is a beautiful 2-bedroom jungle home and 2-bedroom apartment conveniently located minutes from the beach in Manuel Antonio. Surrounded by lush jungle, it is part of a biological corridor for local wildlife. Visits from monkeys, sloths, iguanas and scarlet macaws (aka 'lapas') are common.

The main home has 2 large bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms on the entry level, along with a separate sitting/living area. Bedroom #1 has a king bed, a queen Murphy bed behind it, and a small sofa bed (sufficient for a child). Bedroom #2 has a king bed and a single bed. In the upper living area is also a small sofa bed (sufficient for a child).

A spiral staircase descends to the living area and kitchen, with high ceilings, communicating with the outdoor covered arcade and pool area via sliding glass doors. In the living area there is a large dining table for 8 people, TV, AC, a full bathroom and laundry room. The outer arcade extends into a large outdoor terrace, below which is the 2-bedroom apartment.

The (new) apartment is compact, modern and charming, with sliding glass doors that communicate the bedrooms with the living room and outdoor patios. The master bedroom has a queen bed, and the guest bedroom has a double bed. There is a small living area, kitchenette and full bathroom, with AC and wifi. Set amid the rainforest it is a beautiful and private setting in of itself. Please note that the apartment is accessed via a short, outdoor stair.
