Brand New Vacation Rental in 2024..This top floor, corner unit at Kona Mansions is a cozy and comfortable one-bedroom, one bathroom unit in the Best Building the development offers, Building A. You'll enjoy a captivating ocean view when walking out of your unit as the interior faces the mountain.
It is conveniently located, just a short stroll from Kailua Village. Downtown living, no car needed!
You'll appreciate tile flooring throughout, double-pane windows, and sliding doors that open to embrace the island breezes, this 571-square-foot unit maximizes natural ventilation. For warmer days, air conditioning ensures a refreshing interior in the Living Room, which easily makes its way to the Bedroom.
Enjoy French doors that welcome you into the bedroom or bathroom, with large jalousies windows and a spacious closet.
The bathroom includes a walk-in shower and a convenient stacking washer/dryer for use!
The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, ample storage cabinets, and a breakfast bar.

Nice place and great location in Kailua-Kona. Cleanliness was questionable with dried food on table, dishes and don’t put your hand between the couch cushions! Had issues with the toilet and only 2 rolls of toilet paper for 10 days—rationing required!

We're so very sorry about the cleaning issues, which we were very surprised about.
We did end up changing the housekeeper, as that complaint to us is unacceptable. So very sorry about this. And we do offer the starter supply only of supplies, if you did need more we would be happy to have brought that by if you so prefer.

Great vacation experience.
Rating Details:

There is so much more to do in Kona than we realized, this was our first time there and we have to go back for more. This condo was great- beyond our expectations only wish we had chosen to stay longer. Knutson and assoc. really made sure everything was as it should be with full communication the whole time. We are really looking forward to going back and booking with them. Aloha!

Pros:--The check in process was seamless. The host sent all the necessary info ahead of time.--The condo is located a 5-min walk from a cute water-front area with shops and restaurants. --The interior is clean, appliances and furniture are in good condition--Air-conditioner is in the living room but is strong enough to cool off the bedroom if the doors are left open (there are also fans in the living room and the bedroom)--A free parking spot--Lots of closet space--2 beach chairs are providedCons:--As the listing accurately describes, the unit is on the top floor and there's no elevator, so there's quite a bit of effort involved in carrying up your luggage and any provisions that you get for your stay.--The complex's pool is small and has no hot tub--No balcony or view (as is stated in the listing)Suggestions for improvement:--Fix the lock on the sliding door between the bedroom and the bathroom--Add a cooler that the tenants could take to the beach--Install bulk shampoo and shower gel dispensers in the bathroom instead of providing small sample bottles that are insufficient for a stay longer than a day--Add oil and/or cooking spray, salt and pepper (we left ours there for the next tenants to use)

We're so glad to hear you enjoyed the easy check-in process, the convenient walkable location, the cleanliness of the condo, and the comfort of the furnishings and air conditioning. It's great to know the reserved parking and beach chairs helped make your stay even more enjoyable.
We also appreciate your helpful suggestions. We'll certainly have our maintenance team take a look at the sliding door lock, and we'll pass along your recommendations regarding a beach cooler and bulk bathroom amenities for the owner to consider. We do provide a starter supply of toiletries to help guests get settled, but since everyone uses different brands and quantities, guests are expected to purchase additional supplies as needed for longer stays. Likewise, due to food safety and quality considerations, we generally don't provide or leave behind opened cooking oils or seasonings.
Thank you as well for noting that the listing accurately describes the top-floor location without an elevator and the lack of a lanai or view, so future guests know exactly what to expect.

The stay was great, had everything we needed. Only thing I would suggest is adding some small lamps in the bedroom. Other than that property was very clean!
