Lovely house

We enjoyed the clean, comfortable and nicely decorated home. The location was great- we’ve known Pemaquid for years and loved being there again, especially with such a pleasant place to stay in

Great family getaway!

We had a fantastic vacation in Pemaquid, Maine. The house was very cozy and had all the amenities (except A/C) but the ceiling fans were perfect and it cools down overnight. There was even bug spray, umbrella, 4 bicycles, tennis rackets, extra towels for the beach, soap for laundry etc. The house was also perfectly situated to be able to visit all the tourists attractions (most were a 10min drive). There was a book written by the owners that explained which places that are worth while visiting, where to find groceries, where to eat, where to go with your dog etc. I totally appreciated this as I did not have time to investigate much prior to our arrival. Overall a great stay and would highly recommend.

Wonderful Pemaquid Home!!

My husband, parents, 2 pups and I stayed in this beautiful home. My parents stayed a week, while we stayed 2. It's the perfect home to spread out, explore the area, and enjoy the sounds of nature and pure peace. The home was clean, decorated beautifully, and had many special touches like fresh cut flowers in vases, and a lovely gift card for a free pie from a local bakery. The bakery was delicious! The outdoor decks were perfect to sit out on day or night, with the string lights for a beautiful ambiance. The home is right near the Pemaquid Lighthouse and walking distance to Pemaquid Seafood. We explored everything within an hour of the home including Freeport, Camden, Mt. Bettie, Rockland, Boothbay Harbor, New Harbor, and of course Damariscotta- the nearest town from the home. The whole area is a dream! So much shopping at lovely boutiques and great restaurants all around. We loved visiting Pemaquid Beach and being surrounded by water wherever we went. We especially loved that this home is dog friendly, as we never leave home without them. Dan and his family are great hosts, and he was always responsive with questions when I had them. We travel all over the country and can honestly say this was one of the best rentals! There was plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, and cleaning supplies- which many homes lack. They thought of everything! We would definitely recommend staying in this unique home, without a doubt, and we are so thankful for the opportunity to stay.

August at Pemiquid

The home was all that we hoped for and more. It was beautifully appointed, the beds were comfy and the kitchen lacked nothing. I loved watering the flowers in the morning and reading on the decks. The beach was my favorite. We swam almost every day!! I hope we can continue to come for many years.

Lovely home

What a beautiful little house— has every you need and more. Large windows and ceiling fans for a cool, airy feel. On the corner of a small unpaved lane for nice walks. Very convenient to all of the coastal beauty of the peninsula.

Fabulous home for us!

It had everything we needed and more. Beautifully decorated. Wonderful extra paper supplies and other listed amenities. Close to the beach (8 min. drive.) and many wonderful places on this peninsula. Clean! Comfortable! Many towels, beach towels, blankets. Quiet and we enjoyed the decks. Would love to return. Laura, the rental agent, could not have been more helpful from beginning to end.

Cute House, pretty location

We enjoyed our stay and appreciated all of the quick responses from the owners. We loved the location. The house met our needs but was mostly missing a large area to sit down and eat together. We found that difficult with the amount of kids and adults we had. The garden shed had lots of extras if you needed it.

We have a 'drop leaf' table with 4 chairs in the hallway next to the kitchen (Plus 3 more chairs in the potting shed) and there is the large dining table on the outdoor deck which seats 8. I will make sure our future guests understand the table in the hallway is actually a 'dining table' that can accommodate 6. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, we will certainly put this valuable information in our Welcome Letter. Thank you again for visiting!

Great Pemaquid vacation

Stayed for a week with family and dog. Home is beautifully renovated and has everything you’ll need for your stay. Plan on returning next summer.

The Cottage.

Outstanding location and the home was well done, clean, and had high-end products in the kitchen. The owners also had the place well stocked with cleaning supplies and everyday items. Laura the manger gave us a ton of great locations to visit.

Pemaquid Harbor Victorian

We had a great stay at this delightful house. Our only complaint is that the VRBO listing says the house is 1.5 miles from Pemaquid beach, but did not mention that distance is "as the crow flies." The beach is six miles away--not the easy bike ride we were anticipating. Also, we rented during an excessively hot week and had to buy fans for the upstairs bedrooms--the ceiling fans were not enough. Otherwise, we had a wonderful, comfortable stay at this well-appointed house with exceptionally nice outdoor space.

Wonderful!

We loved the beautiful house and decks to sit out on. Wonderful area to explore on bikes or car and on foot. Really beautiful property with pretty vases of flowers put out for us and even a delicious blueberry tart on arrival -- thank you!

Very welcoming, responsive management!

A cozy, well-stocked home, with comfortable beds in a suburban enclave that places you a not-too-far drive from many mid-coast attractions. There was a little mix-up around our check-in and the owners handled the situation so swiftly and with such concern for us, that I'd have no reservation about returning to this house or renting one of their other properties.

Family get together

Nicely equipped home in a great location on Mid Coast. All you need for a great Maine vacation. Near New Harbor, Pemaquid lighthouse, Round Pound, good hiking trails and good Maine Restaurants. Monday jam sessions at King Ro in Round pound are fun. Host is very quick to respond.

Plenty of room and great location

Wonderful experience with 5 of my family members and dog. So close to many activities, and the hosts were very helpful. It was very peaceful, clean, and we felt at home away from home!

Charming Maine coast cottage

This is a spacious, charming, and comfortable cottage with lovely grounds and a large deck out back. Although not on the water, it is a short drive to Pemaquid Beach, a large sandy swimming beach, and a walk to Pemaquid Seafood where you can watch the harbor while eating delicious lobster, as well being close to New Harbor, South Bristol, and Round Pond, all worthy of exploration. We’ve rented cottages all over New England, but Laura tops everyone for being such a dream to work with. She is relaxed, friendly, honest, and assiduous about answering all questions about the property by email.

A lovely and comfortable property!

This house was beautifully positioned for us, between the Pemaquid Lighthouse and Damariscotta, as well as being so very close to the Pemaquid lobster co-op, which was wonderful (lobsters, clams, oysters, and more!). The interior was spacious and welcoming, providing an ideal place for a large family reunion (with some in other lodgings, but this was a great gathering spot). Wonderful place for a memorable vacation!
