Huset er kun få skridt til restauranter og butikker, en blok til Del Mar spektakulære strand klipper, en to blok gåtur til adgang til stranden gennem parken og legeplads, og surf spots. Beliggende i en skov af store træer på et stort parti, du har privatlivets fred og ro men du er midt i det hele Del Mar har at byde på ...! Placeret over Plaza i Olde Del Mar ... en fem minutters gang til Pacifica, bananrepublik og Starbucks og meget mere.

Lyt til havets bølger, mens du sidder på den tilbage patio, se havet gennem træerne. Læs morgenavisen fra bunken. Nyd en brand, se tv, gå / løbe på de nærliggende klipper, se solnedgangen over havet.

Beautiful Ocean Views and Perfect Location!

Very lovely single level home with everything necessary to have wonderful vacation. The owner was very accommodating and even went above and beyond to get an air conditioner delivered when the weather was unusually warm. The yard is large, grassy and shaded, perfect for little ones or dogs. The ocean views are the best we've had in several other stays in the Del Mar area. Very close to everything a person would want to see or do in the area. Would highly recommend this home and will definitely stay again.

Quaint, Quiet and Perfect

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. Lets start with the VIEW! Oh my, so beautiful! The home is older but super clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and convenient to the beach, restaurants, and San Diego. Our family had everything we needed (we only missed having a toaster :) and look forward to coming back one day. We loved this sweet quaint home and had a great relaxing vacation.

Misleading photos

I booked this property for a vacation with my adult children who flew in from out of state . The condition of the exterior of the property was not at all as shown in the photos. And although the interior of the property was in good condition and nicely decorated, the beds were old and extremely uncomfortable. The “photo stamp” on the exterior was from 2005 and did not represent the true condition of the property. At The price we paid , this should be a 5 star property. That rating would be a 2 out of 5 stars – I have photos of the actual condition of the exterior that I have submitted to VRBO showing that this is not an exaggeration . I look forward hearing from a VRBO representative.

Comfortable Del Mar cottage with Super Views

The house was even nicer than it looked in the posted pictures. The views from the backyard and back of the house are stunning. I've walked by the front of this property times over the years and it's unassuming from the outside so we were pleasantly surprised. The living space is well laid out open floor plan with a very spacious kitchen with plenty of kitchenware. We had one issue with the stove and Wanda was very available and responsive to address, and helpful throughout our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful stay.

Location is great, the backyard is a dream, a few details need to be improved.

We loved the location of this rental. The house is very nice on the inside and the yard and outdoor seating is spectacular. The kitchen was fairly well equipped. A quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The house has no "curb appeal" so we were a little taken aback when we arrived. The inside made up for it as it is very nice. The main issue was the poor mattresses/pillows in each of the 3 bedrooms. We all had a difficult time sleeping as a result. The middle room had the best mattress of the 3. Also, the washing machine doesn't work properly. We only did one load of laundry, water flowed onto the floor and it was clear this was a common experience. For the price we were charged it did not meet our expectations due to the bedding issues.

What a View!

This is a beautiful house in a fantastic location with the best sunset views in town. My wife, young kids and I stayed here for five nights in April and already making plans to come back next year. House is clean, and the kitchen is well appointed and stocked with quality cooking gear. What's also appealing is the location in that it's an easy walk down to town for a morning Starbucks run, a walk on the beach or taking the kids in the stroller to the playground or a well-earned trip to town for happy hour. My dog loved it because you can walk to the dog beach (maybe a mile or so). If you're a biker, leave the house and head North on Highway 101 for an excellent ride along the ocean. Can't wait to return next year!

BEST VIEW IN TOWN

My wife and I have stayed in the Del Mar area seven times - this house has by far the best ocean view - both from the patio and from the house itself. A wide perspective with trees here and there - and no commercial buildings in the line of sight. The house is comfortable and the owner is very easy to work with. We will be back.

Lovely cottage, ocean views

Our family of four stayed after Christmas for 4 days. It's a 1950s cottage with beautiful remodeled kitchen, living and master bedroom/bath. Set in a neighborhood about 15 minute walk from the beach and downtown Del Mar, it's quiet and peaceful. The yard was lovely. The The living room had gorgeous views of the ocean, sunrise and sunset. I saw whales breaching from the couch. We had tried to book several VRBO places in La Jolla and Mission Bay, but were too late...what a great thing we ended up in Del Mar! The other areas were overrun with tourists and loud. Everything we wanted to do was within 20-40 minutes driving...Seaworld, the Zoo, the USS Midway, Yorrey Pines. Bring a football, frisbee or beach. We would absolutely come back to Del Mar and stay here again!

Incredible view from each room

We stayed at this charming house for 9 days in July. The house can easily accommodate a family with 3-4 children. We especially enjoyed the spectacular views from the back yard and all the living rooms and kitchen. Full kitchen and outdoor grill allowed us to enjoy dinners outside. The location is also ideal for walks to 15th street beach and park and great restaurants. We cannot wait to return. Thank you.

Great for a short or long term rental!

This house is hands down the best home to stay in when visiting Del Mar and the owner is a pleasure to work with. Our family rented this house for 8 months when we first moved to the area....and it was a fabulous place to call home. We had all the comforts of "home" combined with an amazing ocean view, spacious interior, and great backyard. The home is perfect for entertaining as the kitchen has a huge island that everyone gathers around. Then outside there are 2 patios for relaxing or dining as well as a large grassy area perfect for kids. One of the best "perks" of the house is that it is within walking distance to the Village AND the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here....honestly, it was hard to leave.

Great little house in Del Mar

My family and I had the pleasure of staying in this cute house. This 3 bedroom/ 2 bath house is really wonderful inside and out! The kitchen and family room are a great place to hang out and the chairs and couches are inviting and comfortable. It's actually hard to decide where to spend your time....... Because, the outside with its great sitting area and unbelievable ocean view are one of the best parts of this vacation rental. The house is just as great as the pictures make it look- the kitchen is beautiful! All five of us loved our stay here and would return again forsure! The owner is a very nice lady who was really easy to work with and sent our deposit back immediately!

Del Mar

The house was as specified, clean, tidy, well equipped, lovely gardens with ocean views and plenty of old Del Mar charm. The photos do not do it justice, as it is more spacious and airy than they would have you believe, plenty of room for family of 5 to do their own thing. The owner managed all our questions well, check in and checkout procedure were all clear. In my opinion it’s really good value because the beach and great restaurants are 10 -15 minute slow walk, but it’s far enough away from the evening Del Mar bustle to be quiet and peaceful. Wifi was a bonus, not expected as it was not in details. We would certainly look it up again for our next visit.
