Beyond the front door, the resort opens up. Hop the free tram to Sandestin's private white-sand Gulf beach, cool off at the resort pool, or tee off on the championship golf courses. The village is a playground for every age — there's a big adventure play structure and a classic carousel for the kids, wide green lawns to run around, and the Baytowne Marina close by for a fishing charter or a cruise on the bay. Grand Boulevard's shops and restaurants sit about a mile away, Destin is roughly fifteen minutes west, and the outlet stores and state-park trails of the Emerald Coast are all an easy drive — though plenty of guests find they never need to leave the gates.
