True beachfront, beautiful and spacious property, great property manager/concierge, easy check in. Everything was amazing. Right on the beach, easy walk (15 min) to Quinta Avenida, and close to Xplor and Xcaret. Ruins to explore right out the door! We will stay here again!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean, spacious, quiet and in a secure gated community. There are small Mayan ruins in the community! Excellent location and friendly resort staff. Walking distance to the ferry to Cozumel and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

All of the host’s recommendations for places to eat were perfect. The accommodations were spacious, clean and comfortable.

The most important things for me in a vacation rental are the view, close proximity to beach, restaurants, shopping etc, and comfortable beds. This place, definitely checked all boxes. The truest measure of reviewing a rental is if you would return and I would absolutely love to return to this spot.

A perfect view of the sea , sun sets , incredible we found the he kitchen good , washer/ dryer a bonus!Property manager easy to contact and very helpful!Recently updated bathrooms with good lighting .. We hope to stay here again

We loved this condo! The host was very responsive to questions, the condo was very clean and comfortable, the staff was nice and the beach was quiet. It worked out very well for our family.

The host was very welcoming and has done an excellent job of updating her VRBO property in a relatively older bldg. Excellent water views from the newer patio doors and windows! Very spacious with lots of storage...Will be renting this unit again..

I rented this condo for a week with my sisters. It is very large. Perfect for us. Very clean and true to the pictures. Having our morning coffees on the balcony while watching the sunrise was my favorite. The restaurant’s food was excellent and very reasonable. The property manager Gabe was very nice, helpful and knowledgeable not only about the place but the area. I would recommend hiring him for tours!

The location was fabulous and the condo was great. Beautiful beach, nice pool. Just lacking service - we were told that we'd be able to order drinks from the pool bar to our room etc, but it was not possible and trying to order and pay for a drink or meal was very challenging.

Photos of condo listing don’t do justice to the spaciousness of the condo nor the amazing views of the water. A few steps from the beach and the pool. Enjoyed our stay very much. Lovely hotel staff especially kind to our children, and Gabriel the local property manager is a delight to communicate with. He’s so helpful and kind and will help set up a fantastic day trip for you. Take his advice for local food. So good.

The condo is lovely and the perfect setting for a beach vacation. We walked on the beach every morning watching a beautiful sunrise, had breakfast on the balcony and swam in the ocean or pool in the afternoon. We explored the Mayan ruins across the street and on our way into town. We walked into town for dinner and some shopping on 5th Avenue. Gabe was very responsive when we had minor issues. And best of all Gabe was our tour guide when we went snorkeling in Akumal with the turtles then Yalku. Another time he took us to the Jardín de Eden cenote then to the glass factory. We had a wonderful time! Thank you Gabe!

Love this resort

Pamela's place was great with a beautiful views and all that we needed to make lunches and dinners. She was available by text for anything we needed. We have been staying at that resort for 20 years. Would definitely rent Pamela's place again.

Perfect location in Playa de Carmen

Fantastic location with unprecedented access to the beach. Great property with an excellent set-up and the instructions for check-in were absolutely accurate. This is a great location for families and the service, price, location were exactly as advertised. Highly recommend this property.

We had a lovely stay in Paula’s condo. We’re already looking at booking again for next year. The unit was spacious and clean. It had everything we needed to cook some meals for ourselves. We also ate at the restaurant on site a few times. All of the staff was lovely. And Gabe was very helpful. The resort itself was quiet (perfect for us). The majority of the vacationers were aged 60 which created a friendly, relaxed environment. Based on our experience, I wouldn’t recommend this resort for young people who are looking to party. We really took advantage of the 2 balconies on the unit. We spent most of our time there. We walked to Playa almost every day because it’s super close. We also walked around the general area which sees very little foot or vehicle traffic compared to Xaman Ha road where the large resorts are. Playacar is lovely.

Great Location

Very nice condo in a great location. Playacar Phase 1 is a quaint and quiet area on a beautiful beach. It’s a pleasant walk to town, but taxis are easy to get as well. The photos provided are accurate. We enjoyed our stay and will return.

Playa Family Vacation

We really enjoyed being in this community. It is very charming, and away from the hustle and bustle of all the business, yet only a 15 minute walk to the excitement in town. We also greatly enjoyed some day trips to "The Jungle Place", and Xcarat. Lovely people at this condo development, both the staff and the guests.

Our stay was wonderfully memorable. The property was huge and very well maintained. The host thought of everything. She even connected us with Gabe, the local property manager and he ensured our every need was met - even transportation. We have new friends! Gabby was awesome too with maid servuces

Great family stay

Small, lovely resort where everyone knows you after the first 2 days. Fun, varied activities and not too much seaweed. Food at the snack shack is good; dinner so-so but menu changes nightly. Note: Location of the resort is fairly deep into Playacar, so ask about the bikes or be ready to walk a lot into town (totally with it!).

This is a very nice condo that accommodated our family of five. The beach view from the balconies is beautiful, and Pamela, the owner, is very helpful and she responds quickly to any questions. Gabe, the property manager, is outstanding! He drove us to Chichen Itza and arranged a private tour of the Mayan ruins which was excellent, followed by a great lunch and swim in a beautiful cenote. He also recommended some very good restaurants in Playa, arranged our return airport transportation, and promptly helped us with everything else we needed. As for the resort, the main part of the pool is very nice with direct access to the bar that serves all kinds of beverages, but it is only about 4 1/2 feet deep. The other two parts have only a foot of water in them so they would be good if you bring young children. Unfortunately, the beach was full of seaweed this time of year which made it a bit difficult to access the beautiful water beyond it, especially on windy days when it was constantly washing up on the shore. We were told that it is not always like this, so if you are looking for a pristine sandy beach you should probably come a different time of year. We went parasailing with venders down the beach. The food at the outdoor snack restaurant was good, particularly the fajitas and guacamole, but it closes at 5:00 pm. The indoor restaurant was OK, but we ate there only for convenience when we got back later from day trips. Their breakfast omelettes are very good.

Hi Patty, I’m so glad you had a great time in Playa and the Yucatán peninsula. As an owner of a condo, I have little control over Mother Nature. The Mexican government and their Navy are now $60 million usd annually to mitigate the seaweed issue from Cancun past Southern Tulum and this seaweed grows off the coast of Brazil and the currents bring it toward the Caribbean Sea. All I can say is with global warming, they better expedite this. Anyway, it sounds like you guys made the best of the situation by enjoying the pools, the Mayan ruins, the beautiful fresh water cenotes and such. The summers vary in outside temperature only 10 degrees all year so it’s worth coming at that time of year especially when you have kids off of school and the prices do drop too. Anyway, I do hope you return and next time I pray for no seaweed! Thanks again! Psmela

Amazing view and place to rest after beach and walking day in 5th avenue. My wife and Kids love this place. Only recomendation is to prior to arrival ensure contact the owner to confirm who/how get the keys for the department.
