Welcome to Golden Mile Beach Retreat, a renovated and professionally decorated home located in the heart of St. Augustine Beach and a short walk from the beach, numerous restaurants, bars and shops, and the St. Johns County Ocean Pier! This large family house boasts a huge gourmet kitchen, game room, and multiple decks and beautiful views. Enjoy a less than five minute walk down one of the prettiest streets of St. Augustine Beach to the boardwalk beach access. In the evenings, hang out under a gorgeous ancient oak around the fire pit or in the hot tub. Golden Mile Beach Retreat is professionally and beautifully decorated with a comfortable, modern beach vibe. Sleeping arrangements include two king bedrooms and a double bunk room upstairs, along with two pullouts (queen and full) in the upstairs den, and a queen sized pullout in the downstairs living room. You will find everything you need for your vacation including a fully stocked kitchen, clean and fresh linens, bathroom amenities, and beach supplies. Rinse off after the beach in an enclosed outdoor shower. Whether you are wanting to surf, fish, swim, enjoy family time, or take in the night life, Golden Mile Beach Retreat is the perfect location!
While in St. Augustine, don't miss out on the great history and activities the area has to offer. Ride the Old Town Trolley around the area and take in the historic beauty of Downtown St. Augustine! Explore the oldest fort in the continental United States, the Castillo San Marcos, and stroll down colorful St. George Street filled with shops and restaurants of irresistible local flare. You might even spot a Pirate or Spanish Conquistador in period attire! Breathe in the warm, salty air as you enjoy a romantic walk along the waterfront as the sun sets, casting its final rays on the sparkling water, the drifting boats, and the picturesque Bridge of Lions. But don’t forget to make good use of the night by experiencing the Ghost train or Haunted House tour. Enjoy the endless variety of restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream, art galleries and bookstores.

The property was conveniently located in walking distance to the beach and several. charming restaurants. The hosts were WONDERFUL and very Responsive and respectful. For example, when they found out the beach chairs there were broken, they brought out new ones. The rooms were clean and spacious. We did not use the hot tub, but it was covered and clean looking.

Great location with easy access to the beach and some restaurants. Grocery store close by and not a far ride to all the attractions. The house is very spacious and the property management is responsive. We ran out of gas while cooking and they brought us 2 new tanks the next day. Only down side was that we couldn't really use the back yard. The fire pit and hot tube did not work. Also note, it is a very pet friendly rental. My own fault thinking it wouldn't be, but there was pet hair everywhere, even after I swept many times. We did get to see many sea turtles hatching which was a highlight of the trip!

The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. We loved the outdoor areas and being able to walk to the beach and restaurants. The hot tub was great and we had fun playing ping pong. I’d highly recommend staying here. Communication with the host was also excellent.

Was a perfect house for all we wanted/needed!! 3 min to the beach, good breakfast & dinner choices too!! Very well stocked with most necessities! Comfortable beds, great bathrooms and washer and dryer, such a nice bonus good yard with Jacuzzi. Two living rooms… one for kids one for adults!! Ping-pong table upstairs in the 2nd living room … driveway parking, close to bridge to get downtown too! To all our favorite restaurants there!!! Happily stay again!!

The house was perfect for a girls getaway weekend. Kitchen was large and beautiful. Great location - less than 5 min walk from the beach. We had a party of 8 and felt very comfortable in the house.

Golden Mile Beach Retreat
My family and I had an amazing stay. There was plenty of room and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals. Also, just a short walk to the beach. I would definitely recommend for a nice quiet beach getaway.
