Very interesting cottage with all the facilities we needed and a beautiful garden. Everyone slept well. The upstairs was very quirky and we loved that it had slopey floors. It was a great base for visiting the area. Ronse is a lovely town too. Thank you so much for your hospitality. We felt very welcome!! We would stay again!

It’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into making this hideaway both stylish and welcoming. The facilities are top-notch, with standout features including a luxurious hot tub and a soothing sauna. These were perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the city. The attention to detail in providing everything you might need during your stay is impressive. The location is another major plus. Being close to the tram line made it incredibly easy to get around Ghent and explore all the wonderful sights the city has to offer. Despite being so well-connected, the hideaway itself remains a peaceful retreat, giving us the best of both worlds. Finally, the hosts were fantastic. Communication was seamless from start to finish. They were incredibly responsive, helpful, and genuinely cared about ensuring we had a great stay. Their local tips and recommendations added a special touch to my visit. Overall, Shantay Hideaway is a delightful place to stay. Whether you’re in Ghent for a short visit or a longer stay, we highly recommend it. We can’t wait to return!

We loved everything about this property. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful. The property itself is beautiful, comfortable and truly relaxing. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The garden and sauna made a lovely house even better! We would not hesitate to recommend the house and would definitely come back if we revisit this area of Belgium. It's ideally located too - very close to Ypres and Bruge.

Erik was fantastic from the outset. He gave fantastic information, directions and a brilliant check in process. He was on hand for advice and information regarding both the house and Bruges. My wife and I couldn’t fault The Two Oaks!
