Sauveterre-la-Lemance Station holiday lettings

The house gave us everything we needed for a wonderful, relaxing family holiday. Everything was immaculately clean, with lots of space inside and out. The pool was great for games, it was deeper in the middle and shallower on the edges. The garden and pool had lots of natural shade, which was definitely needed on the hotter days. Monflanquin is a lovely town. The surrounding towns, villages, chateaus and markets are all with in an easy drive and worth a visit. Jo and Jim were great hosts who were on hand if needed. Thanks for a great stay.

Wonderful house and hosts. We enjoyed a lovely relaxing week. We particularly liked the garden and pool as private and peaceful. Daglan had everything we needed and once the temperature cooled down we went out exploring the area which is stunning.

We went here for our 50th wedding anniversary and it was exactly what we wanted . We found the host Didier and his wife very friendly and most helpful without intruding . We stayed for nearly three weeks and did not want to leave the place We want to return next year if we can work it out . It was PERFECT.

This is the best holiday rental we have stayed in . The house is so well equipped , spotless clean and the hosts are lovely . Lovely welcome gifts and home made treats as well as great recommendations for places to eat and visit. Giselle and Jean Pierre were the best hosts and it was a privilege to stay in their beautiful house. Would recommend this property .

Great location in small village with two good restaurants and a shop. Really nice garden and pool. Hosts very nice and welcoming.

Arrival was straightforward - parking in the village car park. Apartment was clean, well maintained and with plenty of equipment. Joel welcomed us and showed us round. We had a good stay with perhaps the only criticism being that in very hot weather the apartment gets extremely hot - there were boxes for fans but they were empty. We'd definitely stay here again - the position in the centre of the village was excellent but quiet and there were plenty of restaurants nearby.

This private, pretty stone house with all the comforts you need is by the lovely river Lot, a large garden with many places to sit and relax and a fabulous terrace for outside dinning.My family including our dog enjoyed a week here in May with sunny days fishing and exploring the countryside villages and brocantes. Rocamadour is a must. My husband had several fish from the river including a 28lb Carp......great sport.The house is so well equipped and tasteful, the hosts are kind and very efficient, thank you Callum and Alex we hope to come back again.......regards Bridget Lovell (Essex)

We arrived to a warm welcome from Glenn, Val and Pluto! Pluto, a 10-month-old field spaniel, won us over from the start and was a frequent visitor to our gite and as dog lovers we were very happy for her to do that! However, there were others who weren't as keen and she was kept away whenever they were at their gite. We were shown into our gite, Sunflower, and were surprised by how spacious it was. Downstairs comprised a newly refurbished kitchen, lounge area with comfy leather sofas and a large dining area. Upstairs the 3 bedrooms were all of a decent size and the bathroom with shower ideal for our needs. The building is very old and the upstairs floorboards were quite creaky but that was to be expected. There are several other gites nearby (each has its own private outdoor patio) as well as a manor house. They were all full when we were there and we met some lovely people. Glenn and Val were excellent hosts. They were close by if you wanted them for anything and as we are looking for a second home in France, we found their knowledge and experience very helpful. We visited Rocamadour and several other lovely villages nearby. Highly recommend 'La Recreation' for an evening meal. Absolutely gorgeous food! Thank you Glenn and Val for a memorable stay!
