Oceanfront contemporary on private beach with fantastic views of Union River Bay and the mountains of Acadia National Park. Floor to ceiling windows in the first floor living area allow for spectacular ocean and natural views. Two bedrooms and bath are located on the first floor and two bedrooms and bath on the second floor. The walk-out basement overlooks Union River Bay and includes two bedrooms, a second family room, a second laundry and a second kitchen. The loft area is equipped with a billiard table and leather seating looking down upon the living area or toward the breathtaking views of Mount Desert Island.

This house is Beautiful, we had a family of 10 and there was plenty of room for everyone! We got in late at night, so the owner met us there the next morning and showed us around. Both kitchens are stocked with everything you need and more. Looking forward to staying here again.

The listing is very accurate and the house served our needs well. The property is great and even better than the pictures. The only downside was the lack of central AC (AC in the the upper bedrooms was great) for a few days when we had high heat and humidity.

My family loved the house. It was in a beautiful spot on calm water. Michael provided an excellent check-in and was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The house was gorgeous and we loved the kayaks and paddleboard and appreciated having many sizes of lifevest available for adults and kids. The view of the night sky from the hot tub was remarkable. The house is clean and well appointed and as advertised. We loved it!

Perfect spot to relax!

This was the prefect spot for our family and friends to relax and connect. Waking up to the water, running in the grass, and relaxing by the fire at night, made our time at the house enjoyable. About an hour from Bar Harbor and Acadia, which required planning with the kids, but was well worth it.

Perfect for multi-gen family like ours. 2 bdrms and rec area on each of 3 floors. Kitchen elaborately outfitted with every tool and appliance you can think of. Many sightings of forest and ocean wildlife took our breath away, as well as a stellar view and restful quiet. We go to Maine every year and this property was fabulous! Beautiful location and grounds. And with Perry’s lobster pound a mile away-we never had to worry about where to eat. Drinking wine and watching the sailboats in front gave all of us a much needed respite. Mike the property manager was the best in explaining the home.

Amazing Family Vacation

Everything you could want for a family vacation! Private beach for exploring and treasure hunting, lawn space for games, hot tub and star gazing at night, fire pit and smores, plenty of room in the well appointed and comfortable home to enjoy gatherings and game night or cozy up and relax while enjoying the spectacular view! In our 5 years of vacationing on the Maine coast, this home, this location, this attention to detail has far surpassed any other stays we have had from Blue Hill to Castine. The home was immaculate - white glove clean. The owner met us and was most helpful, giving us a walkthrough of the home. There was no lack of kitchen items for preparing meals from the fanciest to the simplest, no lack of linens, comfy beds, views of the bay etc etc etc. no lack anywhere - overall a place you would be proud to call home even if it is just for a weeks stay. Perfect Family Vacation spot

We rented this home for a week get together with our adult kids and toddler grand kids (9 total). The place was absolutely ideal for us. The private beach and beautiful lawn were great for the kids to play in. The hot tub was pristine and we used it every day. The house was immaculately clean and is the best equipped rental we've ever had. Our whole family agreed that we should come back next year!
