This was our second stay at Timber Point and will not be our last. The home has everything we needed for a family of 5 2 grandparents. It’s absolutely peaceful and quiet but not remote, close enough to Mt Desert, Schoodic, and our favorite restaurant (Chippers— GO!). Clean as can be, good communication, fully stocked kitchen, gorgeous yard right on the bay. Miss it already!

This was a fantastic home away from home for my family of 5 plus grandparents. Everyone had plenty of room and the house was clean and comfortable. The view in the backyard could not be more beautiful and peaceful! The house is situated on a clam and quiet street. We saw tons of birds including a bald eagle, seals, deer and other wildlife. We were able to launch kayaks right from the backyard and enjoy the cove. Loved it here!

This place was perfect for us. It was clean, spacious, comfortable, and we were thrilled to have a few basics provided such as paper products, dish soap, some spices, and a grill!The host answered every question promptly. Our grandchildren really enjoyed exploring at low tide. We saw wildlife: deer, coyote, many birds, and either a woodchuck or the resident porcupine (not sure, haha). We didn’t get to kayak, but life jackets were there to use, should we have ventured out.The location was extremely quiet as well, with beautiful sunrises over calm and quiet waters . I’d stay there again and highly recommend it.

We loved staying at this property. It was not our first visit to the area; last time we had stayed on Mount Desert Island. This time, we wanted a quieter spot that was still accessible to Acadia. This house was perfect for that. We spent a lot of time outdoors, enjoying the kayaks and the water views from the patio. We grilled dinner twice. It was about a 20 minute drive into town for dinner and a little more than that to the park. The house was very clean, well maintained, and comfortable. We had three generations at the house and the space was perfect for that. It was really nice to have some basic items available to us from the prior renters when we checked in--spices, condiments, sugar, tea, etc. Communication with the host was easy. I highly recommend staying at this property.

Relaxing oasis

Had a great time here. It was very relaxing and the view was spectacular. Also saw plenty of wildlife like rabbits squirrels and porcupines and deer.

We loved staying in this beautiful coastal home. The kitchen included very nice appliances and plenty of dishes and cookware. The owner was friendly, responsive, and helpful. Nearby highlights included kayaking in the cove, visiting Acadia National Park, roasting marshmallows by the campfire, and taking a lobster and seal tour in Bar Harbor.
