Beautiful, well equipped cottage.

Beautiful, well equipped cottage. Very cosy and warm as we had to light the fire using the logs provided, of which there were plenty. The location was stunning and the cafe in the barn opposite was very convenient. Would stay again without a doubt.

Fantastic

This cottage was brilliant! Had everything we needed! Great outdoor space and washing/ drying facilities were excellent. The artisan cafe and shop next door were lovely.

Exceptionally well equipped cottage in a great location

A family group of four stayed here for three nights in early July. We were blessed with fantastic weather and made use of the BBQ and secluded garden. The location is great for visiting Windermere, only a 10 minute drive to get to the boat trips at Lakeside. Even though the cottage is next door to a locally renowned coffee shop and reclamation yard , there was no noise or disruption as their parking is well organised and away from the cottage. In fact, the coffee shop offers breakfast, so might be useful for some families visiting here! The cottage is extrememly well equipped with absolutely everything you could need, including a nice coffee machine. There is plenty of cutlery and crockery and cooking utensils, all really good quality. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom and shower room were all modern with good quality fittings, and top quality towels. The layout of the cottage is a bit unusual, but worked well for us. Two bedrooms and the bathroom are accessed by the corridor, and the shower room and third bedroom are accessed through the second bedroom. The utility room is also accessed through the second bedroom. Overall a very enjoyable, if not too short, stay here.
