Good base for our stay on the lakes

Nice little property , very clean and well equipped , location was a good base for exploring the South Lakes , very quiet with a nice local pub just over the road of you really don’t want the chore of cooking for yourself. I stayed with my son and our 2 dogs and it really was a perfect base for our short break

A gem of Grizebeck

From the moment you walk into the cottage you are surrounded by a big warm hug. A quiet charming village, pub over the road for dinner and a drink, easy access to the Lakes and a faultless stay all round. An absolute delight and a highlight of our UK journey.

very enjoyable

Very enjoyable, loved all the small touches eg wine, chocs, dog treats, dvds, games, books, tea, coffee, first aid kit. Very cosy with the log fire. Friendly pub across the road. Will defiantly stay again.
