CASCADE RETREAT MOUNTAIN VIEWS, GREAT LOCATION NEAR COLORADO SPRINGS ATTRACTIONS

Escape to Our Mountain Retreat in the Pikes Peak Region

Enjoy breathtaking views and an unbeatable location at our welcoming mountain retreat in the beautiful Pikes Peak region of the Colorado Rockies. Nestled in the charming community of Green Mountain Falls, the home is ideally located just 10 miles west of Colorado Springs, 8 miles from Manitou Springs, and 5 miles from Woodland Park.

From the house, you can walk to the historic center of Green Mountain Falls to enjoy the picturesque lake, peaceful park, and the community swimming pool. The town also offers several beloved local dining spots, including The Mucky Duck Restaurant and Bar and The Pantry Restaurant.

The area offers incredible sightseeing opportunities, scenic lakes, hiking trails, and historic mountain towns. Just minutes away, you’ll find North Pole – Santa’s Workshop, a family favorite attraction. The scenic drive to the summit of Pikes Peak begins nearby via the famous Pikes Peak Highway. You’re also only a few miles from the fascinating Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center, an active fossil research facility that both kids and adults love.

Wildlife sightings are a special part of staying here. Our large clearing in front of the house often attracts deer, foxes, elk, squirrels, and other mountain wildlife—especially in the early morning and at sunset.

The outdoor space is perfect for relaxing and taking in the scenery. Enjoy grilling on the BBQ, gathering around the patio table with a small fire pit for roasting marshmallows, or simply unwinding with a glass of wine in the evening or a cup of coffee in the crisp mountain morning.

Inside, the home combines rustic mountain charm with modern comfort. All bedrooms feature custom-made aspen log furniture and pillow-top mattresses. The living room includes two comfortable leather seating areas, and both bathrooms have been updated with contemporary vanities.

The home features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, comfortably accommodating 6–8 guests. It is ideal for 6–8 adults or a mix of adults and children, with a maximum occupancy of 8 guests.

Come stay at Cascade Retreat and experience Colorado’s stunning scenery, fresh mountain air, abundant wildlife, and the rich history of the Pikes Peak region.

Very nice!

The house was very nice and the location was exactly what we were looking for. We were surprised by the affects of the altitude but it reminded us that we were visiting the mountains.

Great mountain getaway

The kids and I had a great time at this rental. We did a lot of activities in Colorado Springs and beyond, but their favorite place to play was the creek next to the pool in Green Mountain Falls. We went there nearly every day and they splashed around.

Excellent stay opportunity for quiet mountain life close to cities and attractions

Centrally located for either outdoor activities and/or visiting the towns around the house. Owner's description is absolutely accurate. Property was clean and we had everything we need for our stay. Excellent view from the front deck. The washer/dryer was very nice and handy to have after the snowstorm/outdoor activities. If your looking for nice leisurely/quiet stay in the mountains, I would recommend this place.

Mountain home get-away

The home was exactly as advertised and just what we needed. Spacious rooms, well stocked with essentials, convenient to activities in western Colorado Springs. Owners were very responsive and clear with instructions. But listing said we had access to a community pool, but it was closed due to summer staffing shortage.

Nice place, good location for home away from home

This is a nice place if you would like to spend a week in the mountains. Very good location close to all local sights and attractions. Restaurants are a short walk away in Green Mountain Falls, Pikes Peak Highway is very close if you are planning to get to the summit of Pikes Peak by car. A lot of trails around. Colorado Springs is a few miles away if you crave city amenities. Woodland Park has all stores and groceries you may need, a couple of museums, nice library and a bunch of restaurants from regular McDonald 's to some higher end and specialty restaurants. We visited Cripple Creek and spend some time at casinos there. There are some national forests and parks around. Florissant Fossil Beds is the one worth mentioning... The house is very homey and has woodsy feel to it. The beds are very comfortable, full kitchen including dishwasher. We had a good time.
