Located on the South side of the island, it offers panoramic views with 340' of waterfront, private dock and spacious lawn. The calm, breezy atmosphere of this beach house is the ideal location to enjoy with family or friends. For the adventurous, take the kayaks for a paddle around the island into Neale Sound and watch the abundance of water fowl including Blue Heron, Bald Eagles and osprey. Children can enjoy a plentiful bike ride around the quiet neighborhood or to the Cobb Island Market for an ice cream while adults relax in a hammock or deck chair in cool shaded areas. Take a dip in the cool refreshing river or simply float on a tube while relaxing to the rhythm of the surf. Whether planning a family reunion, a friendly get together, a pre wedding getaway or just a relaxing vacation the many rooms, upper and lower decks, spacious living areas and fully equipped kitchen offer an entertaining and relaxing setting for all. Located on the most south eastern side of the island the house is privately enclosed to appreciate the quiet natural surroundings and marvelous views. We bought a small cottage and then rebuilt the next year. Our family enjoys being here so much and so do all of our friends. We love it. So much to do and at the same time so much to NOT do!! Crabbing, fishing or just sitting, it really is a piece of paradise.
Why they chose this property
When you pull into the drive and see the 340' of waterfront your shoulders come down and a sigh escapes your lips. It's awesome!
