Come make your memories at Sunset Shore Cottages at Rolling Rock in spring, summer, or fall. Share our love of Sister Bay and Door County at a private wooded hideaway on 1.8 acres on Beach Road. This cottage is perfect for smaller or larger groups getting together for family vacations, reunions, company retreats, races, festivals, and parades. While visiting Door County, make Sunset Shore Cottages your personal waterfront property. Your home away from home, your place to relax and unwind. You will find fun and enjoyment on 128 feet of Green Bay shoreline in beautiful Sister Bay. View magnificent scenery and gorgeous sunsets all year round. Your hideaway is a short distance to Sister Bay's downtown restaurants, shopping, and a sand beach park.

The charming Garden Cottage is 790 square feet and sleeps 6 comfortably. Upstairs you will find two double size beds with under bed storage. Downstairs there is a beautiful sun room/sleeping porch with a double size bed, living room with a queen size sleeper sofa, a newly remodeled kitchen and bathroom.

Sit on either of the 2 New Piers, on the shoreline to fish, boat, swim, or just plan your day, reminisce, or float your cares away.

This is one of three homes on the property. It sits back from the water approximately 300 feet from the shore. You have views of the water from the porch and all the windows that face the shore. You can use the Piers and shore for your personal use. There is a fire pit on shore with plenty of chairs and wood for you to use.

Perfect Door County cottage!

The photos do not do this lovely cottage justice - it is an absolute delight! The owners are wonderful and have obviously put a lot of time and care into the property. The landscaping is stunning, with flowers blending into the natural woods around. The new piers are well made and the perfect spot to watch a Door County sunset! And the location is so convenient - just up the road from Sister Bay. It was absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway for me and my two children (and our dog!). Would definitely return!!

Nice place, just not great if bringing a boat. Clearance on the driveways had limbs hitting my t top on my center console. You can't stay hooked up to the boat due to room. The other boat had to unhook parallel to the driveway due to lack of room.

Fall/Birthday Getaway

Dave and Deb have created a perfect fall retreat. They were so welcoming and helpful upon our arrival and the property is beautiful. Enjoyed coffee on the pier in the morning and utilized the bikes to ride around town in the afternoon. If the wind died down we would have loved to sit by the fire as well! Our family really enjoyed the pie so much that they all requested the bakery information 😂. Would love to return in the future!

No rush getting back...

Not for a family of four. Nice hosts' cabin eh just Ok. No privacy. The blind window/production for the evening was quite something on the porch bedroom.

The cottage photos show that there are two double beds in the upstairs loft bedroom and one double bed on the first floor sun porch. The sun porch is very romantic with windows on three sides that can be opened or closed with blinds for privacy. The kitchen and bathroom are newly remodeled and updated with quartz countertops stainless steel appliances and are fully stocked. Guest arrived with large lab without pre approval. We allow dogs as long as the dog is well behaved and house broken. Had to call guest because dog was barking continuously for more than a half hour when left alone. Neighbor complained about his barking dog. Guest did come back and did quiet the dog. Guest was asked to pay pet fee upon arrival but, never paid fee .

Family Reunion

We rented both Debbie and Dave's houses for a family reunion. We had a family dinner at the house on Saturday night. There are all the dishes, pots and pans, silverware and glasses we needed . The houses are comfortable and well appointed. We all enjoyed our time and would stay here again. Great location for nice walks. Convenient location for exploring the Sister Bay area.

Great host family and facilities

We were seeking a reasonably priced house close to the water in Door County, WI. This cabin fit the bill perfectly. The cabin was the prefect size and was well equipped. Loved the proximity to the lakes and enjoyed using the newly refurbished piers. It's location allowed us to take many day trips to explore the many beaches, parks, lighthouses, ice cream shops and restaurants of Door County. We had a great vacation!

Cozy Cabin

From the fireworks show at Freedom Fest to kick off our stay, the homemade cherry pie baked bay Dave himself (lol) to the amazing sunsets from the pier our trip was great! We had a great stay at Dave and Debbie’s property and appreciate them sharing a slice of their life for all to enjoy. Cabin has all you need and we enjoyed being able to take our Lab with us. Quaint Weekend Getaway

Minutes away from everything in Sister Bay you'll find this nice cottage with lake views! My husband, 7 month old dog, and myself spent my birthday weekend here and had a great time. Dave and Debbie were very responsive, gave us some great restaurant suggestions and even let us know the cherry blossoms were blooming at a nearby winery. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quiet getaway to Door County.

Door County Weekend

We had a great stay at Sunset Shore! The cottage was very cute and perfect for us with our dog. It was very well stocked with everything we needed for the stay and the grounds are beautiful. There are some walking trails across the street for walking our dog and the location was very convenient for anything in Door County. Debbie and Dave are great hosts and very easy to get in touch with.

We had a nice extended weekend stay at this cabin. It was just right for my daughter and me. Very convenient to everywhere in Door County. The owners were very responsive and accommodating. Nice getaway for a small family.
