Middleton House is perfect for a family holiday and is situated in the popular resort of Filey, just a short walk from the high street and all its amenities.. Ground Floor:

First Floor:

Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed

Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds

Bathroom: Bath, Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, No Toilet

Second Floor:

Bedroom 3: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for multi-fuel burner included. Travel cot and highchair available on request. . Courtyard with garden furniture. On road parking. No smoking.. This spacious, terraced house has a large separate dining room and a cosy multi-fuel burner in the living room. Within easy reach there are plenty of cafés, independent shops, bars and a large supermarket, as well as a train station where there are regular trains to Scarborough and Bridlington. There is something for all age groups in Filey and the added bonus of having one of the best beaches in the UK. It is over 4 miles of long, flat sandy beach that is enjoyed by families, dog walkers and horse riders, both in the summer and winter months. There is space for everybody and even in the height of season there is always lots of beach space. Just along the coast is the RSPB bird sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs. Here you can see the puffins and other migrating birds that people travel from throughout the UK and overseas to view the birds perched on the cliffs.



The medieval city of York is just an hour’s drive away and has been voted as one of the top 10 cities to visit in the UK, it definitely should be on your list to visit. There are plenty of museums, theatres and parks, as well as river cruises and open top tourist buses. Children will enjoy the National Railway Museum and the Jorvik Viking Centre, a museum that depicts the life of the Vikings in the city. Beach ¼ mile. Shop 200 yards, pub 150 yards and restaurant 300 yards.

Booking system and arrival information at this property was diabolical. App information for emergency contact from vrbo was extremely poor. No access information provided, web chat didn't respond, phone contact was a message to use App live chat . After 2 1/2 hrs locked out of property with 2 toddlers in a heat wave eventually got the help needed. The property its self is well worth the visit. Excellent bedrooms for a large family. Kitchen was fully equipped and a comfortable lounge. Great location.The owners were very responsive to issues. Would definitely revisit but will never book through vrbo, cottages. Com/ hoseasons umbrella again.
