Amazing family holiday

We were looking for somewhere quiet that would meet all our needs. The grandparents were very happy by the pool, the parents exploring the area and the teenagers the WiFi and the pool. Eric and Nicole were very friendly and easy to get in contact with and left us wine and jam as a welcome gift- a nice touch. The location was perfect for us but be aware it is in the middle of nowhere so a car needed and quite a hike up from the village if you prefer to walk. Good for the leg muscles. The house is fully equipped with everything we could have possibly needed and more. Getting mosquito nets at the bedroom windows may be a consideration for the future as temperatures rise and grandad could have done with a handrail to get out of the pool - but we managed! Overall rate 10/10 as we had an unforgettable holiday

Lovely hideaway with a great pool

We have just returned from a 2-week stay at Villa Mierlo with our two teens and were really sad to leave. It's a lovely house in a quiet hillside location with amazing views from every window (you can see the sea, the Pyranees and Spain) and a good sized pool, which we used to the full. The house is beautifully renovated, with plenty of character, all mod cons and very well equipped (lots of kitchen stuff, sun loungers, an outdoor table tennis table and a Wii with all the games). There was more than enough room for 4 of us (we all got our own ensuite bathroom) and this property would suit 2 families too. The villa is in a quiet location about half an hour inland from the nearest beach, so we had a couple of beach days, and an afternoon white water rafting in the mountains about a 90-min drive away. Most of the time though, we just enjoyed hanging out at the villa, swimming during the day and having bbqs and playing board games in the evenings. The historic village of Llauro is a 10 minute walk down the hill. The only downside is that the village shop and restaurant/bar are no longer open, so shopping, eating out etc is a drive to nearby towns 10-15 mins away. Our lovely concierge Eric and Nicole were on hand to look after us (they even brought us oysters back from a day trip). If you want a peaceful holiday away from the crowds and don't mind driving to get places, then this is ideal.

Dit was al onze tweede keer hier, en het is duidelijk dat de eigenaren blijven investeren om de accommodatie nog mooier te maken. Het nieuwe verwarmde zwembad is een heerlijke toevoeging, en het vergrote terras dat nu helemaal rond het huis doorloopt geeft je overal een prachtig (zit)plekje om van de omgeving te genieten. Maar het absolute hoogtepunt blijft het panoramisch uitzicht.Het is echt adembenemend, op elk moment van de dag. Een plek waar je graag blijft terugkomen.

Wir haben die Villa van Mierlo bereits das zweite Mal gemietet und den Aufenthalt zwischen Bergen und Meer wieder sehr genossen. Der Nachteil der Abgeschiedenheit auf dem Hügel (Auto zum Einkaufen und für Ausflüge notwendig) ist gleichzeitig der große Vorteil eines ruhigen und großzügigen Ferienhauses mit diversen sonnigen und schattigen Möglichkeiten, sich rund um das Haus zurückzuziehen oder gemeinsam zu entspannen.Die Kommunikation und der herzliche Empfang durch Nicole und Eric versüßten uns den Urlaub wieder von Beginn an.Highlights sind der große Salzwasser-Pool, ausreichend bequeme Sonnenliegen, die Tischtennisplatte, sowie die großzügigen Zimmer und die überdachte Terrasse, die auch bei Regen genutzt werden kann. Unsere Kinder hätten sich zum Teil höhere Temperaturen gewünscht, uns Eltern jedoch gefällt der Wind, der recht stetig weht und den Sommer im Süden erträglich macht.Vielen Dank an Familie van Mierlo und wir würden uns freuen, Llauro und die Villa wiederzusehen!

Traumhafte und ruhige Umgebung

Ein Ort zur Erholung! Wir haben die Aussicht und die Ruhe sehr genossen. Das Haus ist komfortabel eingerichtet und es ist alles da, was man für einen Familienurlaub benötigt. Zu empfehlen ist der kleine Laden im Ort, in dem man Obst, Gemüse und Baguette kaufen kann. Für größere Einkäufe benötigt man ein Auto. Die Kommunikation sowohl mit den Nachbarn und Hausmeistern Eric und Nicole, als auch mit Familie van Mierlo ist sehr herzlich und unkompliziert. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gern wieder!

Prachtig weer, 360 uitzicht en verblijf

Calme et vue magnifique

Nous y avons passé une agréable semaine en famille. La maison est très bien équipée avec une salle de bain dans chaque chambre. La piscine chauffée naturellement paraît froide le temps d’y entrer mais une fois à l’eau, c’est très bien. Plus compliqué pour les enfants plus jeunes cependant. La vue y est magnifique, de chaque côté de la maison. Très bon séjour, nous recommandons!

On conseille !

Maison très agréable et très bien adapté pour la vie de 2 familles avec 5 enfants. L'extérieur permet à la fois le jeux des jeunes et le repos des parents. Petits bémols, les chambres à l'étage sont assez chaudes (semaine de forte chaleur). Prendre en compte que le village de Llauro est assez isolé ce qui lui donne beaucoup de calme et une vue extra mais par contre nécessite entre 35 et 45 min de route pour visiter les différents lieux majeurs de la région. L'accueil de Nicole et Eric est super pro et convivial. Dans le top 3 de nos différentes maisons de location !

Très belles vacances

Très belle propriété très belle vue Rien ne manque entre le linge de maison, la cuisine, les outils tournevis, transat plus cousin à transat rien ne manque !!! Un tout petit manque, l'eau de la piscine reste froide ! Cependant nous avons passé un très agréable séjour. Merci et bonne continuation

Entre mer et montagne

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. La villa est parfaitement organisé pour recevoir du monde où chacun peut également y trouver son intimité. La situation géographique est idéale pour pratiquer la découverte d'une région aux multiples merveilles. L'endroit nous invite à y revenir. Un grand merci à nos hôtes pour l'accueil.

A la fin de cette annee toute la peinture exterieure sera faite ainsi qu’un nouveau moteur pour la piscine (multivariable, plus economique et plus silencieux) Nous avons planifies la climatisation dans les chambres pour debut de l’annee prochaine (en tout cas avant la saison estivale) en esperant que les delais de livraison seront tenus. Tres confort

Tres bonne location, tout est pensé pour etre pratique! Equipement tres fourni rien de manque. L’entretien de la piscine est difficile car le robot aspirateur est fatigué et capricieux seul petit bémol

Vacances entre amis

Nous avons passé des très bonnes vacances à Llauro. La maison est spacieuse, agréable, avec un très beau point de vue sur la mer et la montagne et l'environnement est très calme. 15 jours n'ont pas suffi pour découvrir tous les trésors des Pyrénées Orientales. Un grand merci à Nicole et Éric pour leur accueil, leur disponibilité, leur gentillesse et les petites attentions à notre arrivée.

Magnifique séjour en famille

Nous avons passé 2 semaines à la villa. L’accueil était parfait (plateau de spécialités locales, vin au frigo et confitures faites maison). La situation de la villa est idéale pour profiter de la région, randonnées, visites de villages, journées à la plage,… La villa est très spacieuse et bien aménagée. Nous recommandons sans hésiter!

Vacances 2020
