We always strive for a seamless check-in, and we sincerely apologize that the property wasn’t fully ready until 3:20 PM, resulting in a 20-minute delay past our standard 3:00 PM check-in time. We take great pride in our deep-cleaning standards, which include fresh slipcovers on the furniture for every arrival. Occasionally, a thorough turnover takes a few extra minutes to ensure everything is perfect. As you mentioned in your message to us, you arrived early a little after 2:00 PM, which unfortunately made the wait feel much longer. While we love accommodating early check-ins whenever possible, we do need until 3:00 PM for our team to deliver the high standard of cleanliness our guests expect. We appreciate your kind words about our hard-working cleaning crew and hope to welcome you back for a flawless stay in the future.

Hi. So sorry you experienced rain during your stay. We can control a lot but not the weather! Most of our 2 bedrooms open ups to a covered courtyard space with a heater....and large dining fire-pit table. Stay with us and you are not locked inside!! Happy New Year!!

Thank you for your review. Although 4 stars is great we strive for 5 stars. It sounds like you were actually turning the heater on as this unit...like almost all on the peninsula...does not have AC. There is a portable AC unit in the rare event needed like this past August. There are locks on the sliders. Most folks are comfortable with leaving their sliders open to the back courtyard. We are in a very safe area. Someone would literally need to go through two gates and 60-80ft to access the sliders directly from the exterior. Not easy to do. We will, however, order bars to put in the threshold...it's the first time someone mentioned this. Thanks again.
