Thank you very much for your words. Niice to meet you. See you soon..... Silvia and Sergio

II have no words to dispute the statement that our house is dilapidated. It is no coincidence that the reviews of guests just before you and just after ,have left 5-star reviews on another vacation rental site. The problem of ants is common to the entire Amalfi Coast, as there is a lot of greenery . At the check in there was a sudden invasion: we provided with 2 additional cleanings inside and 2 disinfestations outside . About the hot tub, we recognized immediatly an error for years; infact it is not documented in the photos. The air conditioning is on the upper floor, because on the ground floor you sleep well with natural ventilation and with the the fans available. At check in the batteries were flat, but we immediately replaced them. On The other hand we report the serious incorrectness and the damage ( photos) - not all identity documents and no payment of the tourist taxes, the willing of 8 beds prepared. The reservation was for 5 guests + 1 child, but no children. - Destruction of a trunk for the collection of linen, moved and crushed by a car. - The bed in the mezzanine : complete breakage of the slats and is not repairable: it needs to be repaced. - The plug of a bedside lamp was completely torn out. - Damage to the electric broom - Forced opening of the part of the closet with our personal stuff. - Since we live far away, we could not check if something was missing. This was truly an uncivilized act, I have no words...

We are amazed by your words .... we are used to having words of appreciation. The house is on two floors: one bedroom is on the ground floor and two bedrooms upstairs. The third bedroom, as it is written in the description, is in the mezzanine with a beautiful decorated domed ceiling. Regarding the insects, it may have been some gnats, which can sting sensitive and allergic people .. you were five people and only one of you was stung. We are very sorry that you did not enjoy our home, unlike all the other previous guests, who also appreciated the quiet and peaceful location.

Merci encore. Silvia et Sergio

Every year we are busy to improve the house. It is an ancient house of 600, and we like it even with old furniture, because they are a reminder of the uncle from whom we inherited the house. We have two grandsons (1 and 3 years). For us it is very comfortable to wash them in the bathtub: it is a very expensive bathtub that our uncle bought 10 years ago to wash comfortably, thanks to the entry door. Probably you didn't use it correctly.... Next year we plan to renovate the bathroom, but keep in the tank. About the spiral staircase, our grandsons love a lot it ! About internal private parking, we are very lucky to have it! The parking outside costs 15 euro per day. It is forbidden to park in front of the gate and so you can enter easily.... if someone parks in front of the gate will pay a fine. We are really sorry that we have so different opinions ....... Grazie ancora. Silvia e Sergio

We have no words to thank. After uncle's death, we fell in love with the place and the house. For us it is very important that guests appreciate the house and feel a bit as at home. Fortunatly we are aided by very efficient local people. We are glad when we can help our guests: it is enough so little.... Who wish to visit Venice can park in our garage in Padua and in half an hour reach Venice by train , without any problem of parking. We hope that in the future you can come back to Amalfi Coast and meet us again , may be in Conca dei Marini, since we are placing a new small apartment below , where now there are two cellars. Thanks again. Silvia and Sergio

Thank you very much for your review. I am happy you spent a beauiful holiday in our house . I wait for you all in Italy soon , also to visit Venice and Padova. Best regards. Silvia

I am very surprised : I do not understand why you write that the bathtub is "unusable". As you can see from the photo, it is a very special and expensive bathtub that was appreciated by old people, because you can easily enter by a little door and you can sit comfortably. Maybe you have not tried to use it? Fiore, the custodian of the home, wrote to me, at your departure, that you were very happy. Why did you not speak to him about the problems? Fiore gave you some wine glasses for prosecco (certainly not essential in a holiday home) thinking that you would leave them in the house, but we didn't find them... To improve the upstairs shower it should sacrifice the roundness of the domes original of 600 and it is a pity ... .

A presto. Silvia

Cordialement. Silvia

Thank you very much! When you will come again to Italy, let me know.... Cordially. Silvia

GRAZIE !!!
