Experience the charm of Old Town Napa at "La Casita," a beautifully updated 2-bedroom, 1-bath Spanish-style bungalow (approx. 752 sq ft) built in 1936. Perfectly blending historic character with modern amenities, this cozy retreat features hardwood floors, warm wine-country décor, high quality, natural bedding and a private, fenced oasis in the backyard. 1/2 mile to downtown Napa, you are close enough to walk but in a quiet, charming residential neighborhood. 1 dog considered for a $100 fee.

Sit on the front porch and take in a glorious wine country morning after a crisp walk to the local bakery. Pamper yourself at one of the many day spas within steps of La Casita. Enjoy posh shops and epicurean delights at critically acclaimed restaurants downtown ~ all within a ½ mile. Access a large assortment of wine labels at one of the many wine tasting bars in downtown Napa. Plan a picnic in the beautiful Carneros region or the Stags Leap district all within three miles. End it all with a relaxing evening in the hot tub under the stars.

Amenities include central heat and air, two bedrooms with premium king and queen size beds, a lovely bathroom with tub, shower and pedestal sink, fold out queen size bed in the living room, light and bright kitchen with up-graded appliances, private terrace and garden with patio dining, hot tub, washer/dryer in the carraige house in the back yard, smart television with access to all your favorite streaming services, board games and free Wireless Internet.

*** Please not that this house is small, just 752 square feet and it was built in 1936. We allow up to 5 guests, but it will be cozy! Please don't rent this house and complain that it's small or old. It's called La Casita (the little house) for a good reason!

The City of Napa Noise Ordinance requires quiet time and no use of hot tub after 9:00 PM during the week and 10:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays.

Can't say enough good things about this house. It was perfect for our stay in Napa for a family wedding. It's a small house, as the listing states, but it was perfect for my me, my husband, and our teen. Our teen loved having her own bedroom for the stay (since she's usually stuck on the fold out couch in a hotel suite). The house is super cute and nicely decorated. The kitchen is stocked with most of what we needed for the weekend (though make sure you bring creamer for your coffee). The backyard is a nice little patio area with a table, hot tub, and fountain, and it has a high fence so that it feels a little secluded though you're in a neighborhood. The house is right there in downtown Napa with restaurants and shops just minutes away. There's even a great taqueria right on the corner just steps from the house! Parking was easy, communication was good throughout, and entry to the house was easy. Would definitely recommend.

Why they chose this property

After researching investment properties extensively, I decided to buy a vacation rental in my own beloved town of Napa. It's an area that I know so well, and feel so confident and excited about. The location is wonderful, close to hundreds of wineries, only an hour to San Francisco and the Ocean. Napa Valley offers everything from scores of world-class restaurants, outdoor recreation, great shops, a premium outlet mall, and a newly restored waterfront.

What makes this property unique

The location is so convenient, we are less than a mile from the heart of the downtown area yet in a quiet, tree-lined street. Start the day with a walk up Spencer Street and have a fresh pastry and cup of coffee at a Napa Institution, the Butter Cream Bakery. Stroll into downtown, it's just six blocks to Main Street. Only a half mile from St. Helena Hwy, the wineries and all the Napa Valley has to offer are minutes away. The town of Yountville is just nine miles and the gorgeous Carneros region is less than five miles.
