Enjoy the charm of a 1940's beach cottage right in the heart of San Diego.

Just 10-15 minutes drive from the airport this place is centrally located and close to downtown San Diego and Balboa Park,

Second floor accommodations just one block to sand water in Ocean Beach neighborhood of San Diego.

This one bedroom cottage is one of four in the same complex whereby all of the units are vacation rentals.

Plenty of privacy as this place is situated above the garage and has covered patio.

Sleeps up to four guests with a king bed and a full sized convertible sleeper sofa.

Please note the open floor plan as wall between the bedroom and living room does not go to the ceiling.

All linens and bath & beach towels provided.

Fully stocked kitchen.

Beach gear includes; 2 chairs, wagon, umbrella and cooler

Ocean Beach in the flight path of the San Diego airport. Planes can begin taking off at 6:30 am and the last departures typically occur around 11:30 pm. There is a curfew in place that prohibits departures between 11:30 pm and 6:30 am.

Remove personal items and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please wash all dishes and other kitchen items that have been used during your stay.
Turn off heat or AC
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please note garage is short 1/10 of a mile walk from property, two short blocks away, and is 16 1/2 feet long , 9 feet wide and 70 1/2 inches tall.
Dogs require approval, 189 pet fee. Two dogs a maybe and additional fee may apply. Pets not allowed on bed or furniture and not bark or cry.
waiting on parts to have the mini split AC repaired any day now. In the meantime there is standalone AC that seemingly will cool the place as needed.

Awesome location. Less than 5 minute walk to beach and to community of Ocean Beach. Tons of character-- loved the covered patio. Made it perfect for our family of 3. Very clean. Only issue was some confusion about how to get into garage. Resolved quickly. All other check-in instructions were very clear and detailed.

Cute, clean and comfortable. Easy to walk to restaurants and beach. Parking on the street worked better for us since the garage is a block or two away. Sometimes the street parking is a little hard to find a close spot, so once we did use the garage. Unloading in the alley behind the unit worked out. Read the directions about how to find the place and it makes sense. Host communicates well!

Loved the location.Short walk to the beach. Many restaurants nearby. Host very responsive. Do need to note this area is in direct airplane path from 6:30 am - 11:30 pm. But no overnight flights so that is good. There were plenty of towels. Bed was comfortable. Very cute place.

We LOVED this place! Cold A/C, new appliances, comfortable mattress, nice big TV, and only a 5-min. walk to Dog Beach. After a day at the beach, it was great to return to our cozy little home. Oh, BTW, it was fully equipped with beach necessities: wagon, umbrella, boogie board, etc. and even a washer and dryer for our wet, sandy clothes. Highly recommended!
