JC's Lodge offers quiet relaxation in a rural setting yet is less than 15 miles from Penn State University, Bald Eagle State Park, Black Moshannon State Park, and the exceptional trout fishery of Spring Creek. Located at 355 Bush Hollow Rd - less than 1 mile off US 220 Alt in Julian - JC's Lodge includes a full kitchen, 2 full baths, 1 downstairs bedroom that sleeps 2 and an upstairs loft that sleeps 4. Interior walls are a warm knotty pine with plenty of windows to take in the view. Forced hot air heat and A/C makes time spent indoors very comfy. The property also has cable TV, wireless internet, and a strong cell signal (Verizon). You can enjoy a stroll around the property's 55 acres of open field, woods, and small stream. Cabin was clean and just what we were looking for. The bed in the bedroom on the main floor was extremely hard. Did have to look for chairs to sit outside on the deck and near the fire pit but finally did find enough in the basement.

This was a great property with good proximity to Penn State for a football weekend. Water was odorous as warned so we brought our own and the beds were slightly firmer than we are used to. Otherwise this was a great setup for family to gather!

This is a wonderful house on a beautiful piece of property. 15 minutes from Penn State. Great layout for a crowd. Remember to bring you own sheets and bath towels.
