We enjoyed this cottage. The only negatives were 1) the parking situation, what we knew about when we booked the cottage & 2) the stairs (we our 70 and 72 years old, we’re in good shape, so it was OK for us, but it may be difficult for others, our age or older).Overall, this was a great place for three days day.

Excellent property. We wanted to stay in an old English cottage and that is what we got. The location is excellent with an easy walk to everything in town. The host left a basket of goodies which was a nice touch. The stairs in the cottage are steep and challenging at first but you figure them out. Very well appointed kitchen. Loved the experience. Thanks very much.

Character, history and a parking spot.

Clean and well appointed cottage with bags of character and history. Lots of stairs in the cottage and a little bit of a walk to the parking spot; but there is a designated parking spot which is a big deal in Malmesbury. Great location to walk about the town from. Would stay there again.

Lovely Experience

Overall the property met all our expectations. Unfortunately the washing machine did not work. The Stayz.com contact was not helpful but the owner went above and beyond to ensure our washing was done. Instructions for the various appliances would have been useful!Malmesbury is a beautiful little village, with interesting shopping, plenty of dining options, and friendly locals.Not sure if 'communication with the property manager' refers to the owner, but our star rating is for the owner.
