Great base for a walking holiday

We really enjoyed our trip - thank you. The property was right in the heart of Winchcombe and was a great base for us. There was a slightly strange smell in the kitchen but all good other than that. Very comfy bed!

The Wonders of Winchcombe

Terrific property. Perfect for the two of us and our black Labrador. Very clean and situated close to the centre of town. Very good eateries within walking distance. Some terrific walks nearby. Overall, a lovely few days.

Cottage is in the middle of town, so everything was so close. Quiet place with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Walking Festival Weekend May 2025

Property nice and small for up to 2 people, and is on the High Street - not far from the Coop, Sudely Castle, bus route, Cotswold Way, and various other activities - quiet location - compact and had everything you needed - great for self catering. I was there for the walking festival and not far from the meeting point of the village hall for all of the 3 days of walking

I was here for fantasy forest 2025, this cottage suited me for that, though I would note I hit my head multiple times on low door frames and low beams, these had been communicated by the owner prior to my arrival so it’s my poor coordination skills to blame. I’m 6ft3 btw. Garden feels like it could do with some tlc but it’s still serviceable. Access to car park via garden was very useful when I realised it existed, though after checking comms I was told so that’s my bad, lol

Fijne cottage op goede locatie. Uitstekende slaapkamer en badkamer. In de woonkamer is televisie kijken beetje lastig vanwege de kamerindeling. Ook de geur uit de afvoer/ riool is af en toe onaangenaam. Als daar iets aan gedaan kan worden: top!

I am sorry to hear your comments about an unpleasant odour from the drains. I would have appreciated it if you had raised the issue during your stay so that I could have a chance to deal with it during your stay. When I went to the cottage after you had left there was no odour. In over 10 years of letting the cottage, you are the first guests to raise any issue regarding the position of the television.
