About the host
Hosted by Anne
I have lived in the village now for three decades and for twenty two of those years have enjoyed sharing the peace and tranquillity of my home, which sits next to the cottage. Over the years, its been my pleasure to welcome guests from all around the globe. Many have made return visits to Little B from within the British Isles and from the Netherlands, Germany and as far away as Australia. So its great to know that memories have been made of time spent at my little cottage!
Why they chose this property
I moved here to indulge my love of walking, when I'm not working in cities. I'm still totally captivated by the beautiful countryside that surrounds my home - and in all seasons. It's a very quiet location that is disturbed just occasionally by the clop of a horse on the lane down to the river - it's rather like being on holiday!
What makes this property unique
Little Barnfield is very quiet - except for the owls and wood pigeons! There is a stable door into a lovely, mature garden with roses, ferns, large ash tree and seating area ..... and "John's bird table" has lots of varied visitors! The garden is overlooked by my home, but is entirely for the use of guests to enjoy while staying at Little Barnfield. I have another large garden to enjoy at the front of my home.
