About this property

Villa with AC, large private pool, wonderful views, 15 minutes drive to beach

Ideally situated in Montesquieu des Albères in the foothills of the Pyrenees. The villa is in a peaceful location, 5 minutes walk from the centre of the village where there is a restaurant, a cafe and a grocer's shop.
Large enclosed garden of 3500 sq m with parking for 3 cars. The garden is landscaped with mainly native trees and is home to an amazing variety of birds. The large private pool (12.5m x 6.5m, depth 1.2m - 2.2m) is surrounded by a sun terrace with pool furniture.
Around the house terraces and verandas offer a choice of shade or sun.

Amazing panoramic views: Toward the East the fishing port of Saint Cyprien and the sea, towards the North the plain of Roussillon and the mountains of Aude, towards the West the Pyrenees with Mount Canigou, towards the South the Albères hills.
The villa has been completely renovated over the last few years with new kitchen and breakfast bar, new shower room, new bathroom, new flooring and new lounge furniture. In spring 2026 the area around the pool was landscaped and pull-across insect screens on bedroom and kitchen windows were added. In autumn 2026 ducted reversible air conditioning will be installed.
