However, we are genuinely surprised to read that you feel you were not informed about the restoration works affecting the building. We would like to clarify that this information was explicitly included in the property's description on the VRBO booking page, and was therefore available to review before confirming your reservation. For your reference, the exact wording provided in the listing was: "Please note that, from approximately July 13 through December 2026, restoration works on the condominium façades will be underway. Scaffolding will be installed on both the façade facing Via dei Bardi and the side façade overlooking the small square. During this period, some noise and dust may occur during legally permitted working hours (not before 8:00 a.m.). We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding." We always make a point of transparently communicating any relevant circumstances that may affect our guests' experience, particularly when construction or restoration work is involved. This information was included precisely to ensure that guests were aware of the situation before making their booking. We certainly understand that scaffolding, temporary coverings and the presence of workers may have affected your enjoyment of the views and your overall experience

Regarding the air conditioning, we are particularly sorry that you experienced this issue. Unfortunately, we did not receive any complaint or maintenance request about the AC during your stay. Had we been informed, our maintenance team would have been ready to intervene and check the system promptly. We always encourage our guests to contact us immediately if something is not working properly, as an AC that is not working at all is very different from one that is working but not providing the expected level of cooling. Regarding the bedrooms, we would like to clarify that the apartment's maximum capacity is 6 guests, as clearly indicated in the property description. However, VRBO's system classifies the sofa bed in the living room as a third sleeping room, which may have created some confusion regarding the actual layout of the apartment. We truly appreciate your feedback and will take it into consideration to make the information even clearer for future guests.
