We had a wonderful weekend, the house and outdoor area was perfect. Also, the owners were so nice and helpful, exactly the kind of owners you hope for when renting!

We hope you can come back and stay longer next time! :-)
Our stay was wonderful. This was a perfect place to stay for a crowded Clemson football weekend because it's located on the opposite side of traffic. The beautiful lake setting was a bonus.
What a great place, the house is amazing! The water was great, the dock and beach are amazing! Very clean and comfortable.

We're so glad you enjoyed your stay at Black's Beach! It's the perfect little cove to block out the world and just enjoy your family! :-). Come back again!
Fun times with the kids . Wish we could have stayed longer. The kids loved the dock and the little beach area. Wish the fish would have bit better

Black’s Beach got its name courtesy of that sandy beach area. Kids love it! I’m so glad you guys enjoyed your stay! Come back again and stay longer! I’ll try to put in an order for better fishing conditions. Lol.
We came for the weekend of Clemson family weekend with another family. The property had lots of parking space which was helpful and it was very comfortable and well air conditioned inside with plenty of room for everyone to sleep. We especially enjoyed the dock and outdoor area which was great for visiting while enjoying the beautiful lake scenery. The outdoor decks and furniture needed a good sweeping/air blowing to get rid of leaves and spiders, but that was easily done. We would stay again.

We are so happy you enjoyed “Black’s Beach” during your recent Clemson visit! My husband did the yard cleaning a couple of days prior to your arrival, and it sounds like the winds might have undermined his efforts. I’m so sorry about that! But I’m thankful you were able to enjoy the beautiful weather and scenery!
We had an amazing time at Black’s Beach.
The little beach area was perfect for my kids to play in! Glenda was such a gracious host even finding us fishing poles when I asked if she had any. You can tell there’s a lot of love in that home and property and we will definitely be back!

I'm glad you felt the love at Black's Beach! And I hope you guys get to come back!! :-)
We come to Clemson to watch a football game from Idaho. The property was easy to find and absolutely gorgeous once you get there. The house is right on a lake and we enjoyed every second of our stay there
Great property, could use a little help in the bathrooms, but overall great place, easy walk to dock, good dock, good water level and clean water which is what you want most in a kake house.

Thank you for the wonderful feedback! I’m glad you enjoyed your stay! I’ll be reaching out to you directly to get your feedback on the bathroom help you mention in your review. Our goal is to provide a five-star getaway for everyone!
We rented this lake house for parents weekend, wanting to get a little peace and quiet away from the crazy, the peaceful environment was lovely, the beds were very comfy, and it was so nice to have a house for our family to enjoy the weekend!
Thank you, we will return!
We stayed here for a parents weekend visit and football game at Clemson. Great property and owner is very responsive. Everything went beyond smooth and the location is not as far from Clemson as you might think when looking on a map. While we did not have much time to enjoy the lake side views I can see how this property would be great for a summer retreat or longer stay on a visit to Clemson.

I’m so glad you enjoyed your stay. We truly are just a “hop, skip and jump” away from Clemson University. :-). Come back to visit next year! :-).
We came here to celebrate my daughter's 9th birthday so she could test out her new kayak. The property location was perfect with minimal boat traffic coming by this part of the lake. The covered dock was perfect to fish off and attach some floaties for the kids to lounge in the water. The house had everything we needed and Glenda was super communicative and accommodating. We will definitely be coming back here for future weekend getaways!

I'm thankful your family fell in love with Black's Beach! We love our quiet cove and hope the memories will call you back again!
Property is located nicely with several boat ramps only minutes away. Green pond is less than 30 mins away. Truck and trailer parking is a little tight but very managable. We had 2 truck and boat rigs there with no issues. Definitely Recommend!!

I'm so glad you guys enjoyed your stay at Black's Beach. And happy to hear the fishermen had great success! Come back to visit again!
A relaxing 5 days at the lake! Glenda is excellent to deal with and grateful that her and her husband share their lake house! Well stocked, great yard and dock. Our only complaint - the high temperature and humidity!! But no rain!! Was not able to enjoy the dock and great outdoor areas as much as we normally would.

We are so glad you enjoyed your time at Black’s Beach...minus the extreme heat. We would love to have you back in the fall or spring, so you could enjoy all those places to sit. :-).
The home is tucked away in the woods on the lake. A beautiful property with plenty of outside areas for all ages. Our group of 5 had plenty of room to spread out and the home was well stocked. Glenda was great with supplying us with recommendations for our first Clemson tailgate/game day, hiking/sightseeing and restaurants. When we weren’t out and about, we enjoyed fishing from the dock, sitting in the multiple places outside, laying in the hammock and enjoying the family’s sports memorabilia. We enjoyed being a short distance from Clemson and the beautiful Fall weather made being outside with family a great escape!
We had a great weekend in spite of the rain wash out. It was the start of football so that made it easier to be on the inside between the really bad periods of rain. We also played games and cards. There were enough breaks for everyone to enjoy the dock and go out on the lake some. The guys got in some late night fishing off the dock. We cooked in the whole weekend and the kitchen is completely stocked with everything you need.
The beds are comfortable and it was a great time with my family. The owners are so very nice and responsive.

I was hoping the weather didn’t prevent you from thoroughly enjoying Black’s Beach! I’m so glad you guys had a great time!
Our family of 4 enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving in this cozy home! It had everything we needed and we had fabulous weekend. Our daughter is a Clemson student and it's convenient location made going back and forth to her apartment easy! The weather was amazing for November, and even though the game didn't turn out as we hoped, we all had a memorable holiday! Thank you for sharing your home with us!
The house was wonderful we had a great time the dock was exactly as depicted in all the photos we really really enjoyed our stay we recommend this to all who want to take time with their family at the lake.
My family was in town visiting our son in Clemson! What a lovely time we had!! We loved the dock and beach! Spent most of our time there !! House had everything we needed. Glenda was most hopeful and accommodated some arrival requests that we needed! She couldn’t have been nicer! Will recommend to friends !!

They were great renters and were very respectful of our house and dock. I highly recommend them as guests!
Black’s Beach was a great place to hang out after a day on the lake. The owners were great and very helpful finding places to eat and navigate the lake. We will definitely rent again and make this an annual event.

We have lived in Oconee County all our lives and love the upstate of South Carolina. Our family has enjoyed water sports for many years on Lake Hartwell.
Why they chose this property
Our property is a short drive to Clemson University sporting events. It's tucked away in a quiet cove, but has easy access to open water. It's a GENTLE slope to the lake, and a bonus sandy beach that's wonderful for children.
What makes this property unique
Black's Beach is a peaceful lake property in a quiet cove. There are many places to enjoy peace and quiet, including a hammock, swivel rocking chairs, a love seat hammock on the dock, a comfortable cushioned couch on the back deck, and a covered gazebo bench. Corn hole boards.
