Deluxe 3 BR Retreat - Awesome Views - Affordable Prices!

You will feel on top of the world in our beautifully furnished Watch Hill condo in Wildernest. Large south-facing windows look over expansive views of Buffalo Mountain, the Ten-Mile Range, and Lake Dillon. Vaulted ceilings give a spacious feel to this two-story unit, and the view from the master bedroom is unsurpassed.

The condo is on the second floor-- but don't worry, there are only 12 steps to climb. Three bedrooms provide comfortable sleeping accommodations for 6 adults, with king bed, queen bed, and a new queen with a twin bunk on top for the kids. A twin airbed provides sleeping for an additional person. Each bedroom has its own flat screen cable TV).

The newly remodeled kitchen is fully equipped for gourmet cooking. A collection of games and books is provided for your entertainment. All bedrooms contain a flat screen TV with cable and internet access. Both bathrooms have been recently remodeled with travertine tile, clear glass doors, and updated fixtures. Free shuttle bus to all Summit County ski areas.

Wildernest is ideally situated within 15-30 minutes of all Summit County ski areas, and a shuttle bus provides free service to each area. After a day of skiing or hiking, enjoy watching the sun set over Buffalo Mountain, or relax in one of the three indoor and outdoor hot tubs, located just a short walk from our door.

Note: We suspended renting from March through mid-December, 2021 due to the pandemic and Summit County regulations. Thus, there are no reviews for that period.

The stay was fantastic. The Condo was very clean, the beds were very comfortable. We have a family of 6 and we had more than enough space for all of us. The view is amazing and we even saw two moose out of the upstairs bedroom window. We would love to stay there again!

We have returned to this wonderful condo 3 years in a row due to its proximity to the resorts of Summit County. We love the well stocked kitchen, roomy layout, views, and lovely decor. Highly recommend!

Ski trip central!

We really enjoyed our stay here, the condo has amazing views and is centrally located to several ski resorts and towns. There was plenty of space to spread out and a well equipped kitchen we used before and after long days on the slopes.

Great views and access to multiple ski resorts!

We were able to ski at Vail, Keystone, and Breck during our stay. All within 20-30 min. Perfect size for our family of 5 (with 3 teenage sons).

This condo is all we’d hoped for. Mountain views are gorgeous from inside and outside and sometimes feels like living in treetops. The condo is well appointed with all we needed. The size is nice and we and our visitors were comfortable — loved the big table for meals and card games. Beds are good. Hummingbirds are fun. The owner, Sue, is exceptional in her welcome and in communicating about everything. We hope to stay here again!!

A beautiful condo right in a perfect location

We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. There was snow right outside and the children could go sledding just steps from the condo. The condo was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay including a beautiful fire. Highly recommended!

Absolutely beautiful

Views and condo were amazing. Filled the bird feeder twice. Easy quick access to snowboarding resorts. I would highly recommend this condo. I did a lot of research and this was a great bang for our buck!

Daily viewing of wildlife

Every morning and evening out the dining room window, my husband would see the momma moose and baby and sometimes the daddy moose. We also saw 2 fox in the parking lot. Nice place for our family to stay in July.

Great central location

The condo is in a central location for skiing multiple mountains. The accommodation had all the necessary amenities, but some of the beds were a bit soft, and others a bit hard, and the pillows were on the flatter side for our liking. Despite this, the overall experience was fantastic, making it a great choice for a ski getaway.

This is the 3rd year in a row we’ve booked with Sue. We love her condo and look forward every year to staying there. The location is perfect, close enough to town for anything we need, but far enough to be quiet. The condo is so well stocked with everything you need and more! Everything is comfortable there, the beds are awesome and the view from the upstairs bedroom is to die for! Don’t hesitate to stay here!

Great condo for family ski vacation

Condo kitchen was well stocked with cookware, spices and condiments. Large dining table for eating and playing games. Couch and two chairs were adequate. Some games, puzzles and movies. A few throw blankets would have been nice but the gas fireplace puts out a lot of heat so rarely felt chilled. The close hot tub was not hot but the slightly further indoor and outdoor hot tubs were great. We skied at Breckenridge and tubing at the Frisco adventure park. It was about 30 minutes to Breckenridge.

I chose this condo because of its supurb view, its location in Wildernest, and the easy access to free public transportation to all Summit County ski areas.

What makes this property unique

I love watching all the birds that come at our feeder on the balcony-- hummingbirds in the summer and blue jays in the winter. We even occasionally see a moose visiting the beaver pond just below our complex and a family of foxes visits often.
