We couldn't have picked a better home for our fall trip to Maine. The house was exactly as described. Very clean, spacious and comfortable beds! It was in a perfect location so we were able to do many day trips to see all the beautiful fall foliage. We spent one day enjoying the fire pit in the yard. One rainy day was no problem..the game room kept us entertained all day. Thanks Stephanie for sharing your home..we enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful location for exploring Mount Desert Island, Bar Harbor, and Acadia. House is well appointed and very ….furniture and beds. The basement game room kept 8 and 12 year olds well occupied. We can’t wait to return.

We had a wonderful time at True North, and hope to return! We loved the house's peaceful and quiet location, but just a short drive away from all the sights (and a beautiful hike to the waterfront!). The house itself was lovely and comfortable, and the game room basement was an absolute godsend for my kids. I really appreciated all of the little touches that made our stay feel like home - sharp knives in the kitchen, S'mores supplies for the fire pit, laundry detergent, personal restaurant recommendations, etc. We were able to relax and truly enjoy the amazing island.

An amazing, roomy house with a ton of amenities and ways for families to spend the time, and in a really central location to most of the things you will want to do on the island. Great hiking, paddling, and restaurants within a 5 minute drive.

Excellent Location to stay

The description of the property is accurate. We really enjoyed our stay. The house was a great fit for our family. It was easy to travel to different areas on the island. If we ever make it back to to island, we hope to stay here again.

The property is impeccably maintained. The inside is unbelievably clean amd spacious. The outsode grounds feel like you are on a hike in Acadia. This home is a gem to stay at for your trip!

His vacation home is amazing! Very clean and had everything we need plus more. The beds are very comfortable and plenty of furniture for everyone to sit together in living and dining areas. The basement activity room is amazing and we could barely get the kids to leave the house! This was our third stay. We love it at True North.

Beautiful and private property! So much room to spread out in and had anything we could possibly need! It’s close to the park but far enough away from the hub bub of Bar Harbor where you can enjoy the peace and quiet. Communication with Stephanie (the owner) was promp and informative.

This was the best rental my family has used for vacation throughout New England. It was a perfect location for exploring the Bar Harbor area and Acadia National Park. Set back from the road, the property was quiet and welcoming for humans and animals. Well supplied for young children through adults. Definitely worth the price ( which actually was pretty low compared to smaller rentals!).
