We had 12 people staying for 1 quick night before we all headed off on a cruise. The location was great, we were able to walk around an enjoy Rome. The host was great to deal with and answered any questions that I had. I would definitely recommend this place.
Beautiful Historic home… near great restaurants and the Vatican. A little steep to get to with luggage and our taxi would not go up the winding street. Check in was easy except hard to get into the room since the doorknob wasn’t working well. David responded quickly to any of our concerns. He gave a background on the house and recommended a great dinner place! It was pricey for one night … would have been more worth it if we had a few days there! Loved the back courtyard!
The beautiful villa was more than enough for our group. The host was responsive and helpful. We arrived during a heatwave and were delighted to see how well the air conditioning worked. The bathrooms and showers were wonderful and the beds comfortable. The history of the space was just perfect for our family who enjoys things that reflect the age of the city. Be aware that the apartment doors lock automatically (that’s why there are signs reminding you to keep your keys) and that there is an apartment above so others may enter through the entryway. The villa is situated in the middle of a quiet cobblestone hill which can be challenging for those with physical difficulties. We enjoyed our stay and are glad we chose this location.

Room were clean and spacious. Location was centrally location for siteseeing.
This is a beautiful historic home. It was wonderfully air conditioned during the hot August sun. There were 14 of us, and there was space for everyone to sleep, but the hanging out options were limited. The furniture in the ground floor sitting area is very worn. The hosts were highly responsive to any questions we had both before and during the stay. Easy to gain access. One consideration, if you are riding in a minivan to the home, your driver will not be able to make the 90 degree turn onto the street of the property. It's far too narrow (even the cabs were hesitant). This means you will have to walk with your bags up a hill (or better yet, have your driver drop you at the top of the hill and you can go down) to get to the residence. This was challenging since we had a large group and lots of minivans coming and going.
The beds were very comfortable. The management was very responsive. The furnishings were run down. Sofa sagged to the floor. The living room didn’t have comfortable seating for 5. The dining chairs were not comfortable. It is on a steep hill. We were not aware that it was two apartments plus a bedroom down the hall The photos didn’t give a good indication of the actual apartment. But we did enjoy our time
Where do I start…. First this property is on a street that is on a very steep and narrow hill that most taxis/ubers will not come down. My grandmother had mobility issues and it made for a HARD 3 days. Cleaning ladies were laying on the furniture at check in with trash and laundry all over. Front bedroom toilet had poop all over it. This listing is actually for 3 seperate spaces with other people living in the 3rd floor unit. This was NEVER disclosed in the listing. The couches were antique BUT not at all suitable for sitting. DO NOT plan on using the common spaces. Bathroom finishing are VERY cheap. The apartments are beautiful and with a good deep cleaning and replacing a few of the furnishings with usable pieces this would be a great place to stay young people with no children or elderly in the group. The owners were very responsive to all communication. Lastly the cleaners showed up 30 minutes before checkout time while we were still packing up. They were very nice but it was very awkward. Overall NOT to worth the !!! Improvements need to be made.
